Dogs, Cats, and Other Pets Apparently Abandoned to Die in Apartment Deserve Justice

Target: Whitman County, Washington Prosecuting Attorney Denis P. Tracy

Goal: Give prison sentence to people who allegedly neglected pets and allowed them to die.

One dozen animals died inside an apartment after allegedly being neglected by their owners. Authorities are investigating two people for the crime. The suspects need to spend time behind bars if it is found the pets died because of abuse, so that similar tragedies will be less likely to take place.

Reports state that officers found a deceased dog as well as three possums, a snake, gecko, bearded dragon, and two rodents at the dwelling. Besides these creatures, authorities also took many living animals away, including two cats, two dogs, two hedgehogs, a tortoise, and a bearded dragon. The seized animals will have to be evaluated by veterinarians before next steps are decided. Sign this petition to demand the people allegedly responsible for the fate of these animals be given a prison sentence and to further insist they no longer be legally allowed to have pets, if they are found guilty of neglect.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecuting Attorney Tracy,

Pullman police are looking into an alleged incident of animal cruelty at the College Hill Apartments, after finding a dozen dead animals inside a residence. It is important that they receive a harsh legal sentence if they are found guilty to better ensure other animals will not endure the same fate.

The dead creatures include three possums, one dog, a snake, bearded dragon, two rodents, and a gecko. Officers also said they rescued two dogs, two cats, two hedgehogs, a bearded dragon, and a tortoise. Some or all of them may have to be euthanized if it is determined they are severely suffering due to neglect. For these reasons, I demand you suggest these people be sent to prison and that they no longer be allowed to be around animals if it is discovered any pets suffered or died while under their care.

Sincerely,

Whoever did this deserves the death penalty!! Plain and simple.

  2. The POS humans that are responsible for committing this crime need to be dropped off on a desert island WITHOUT supplies. Let’s see how they would like it.

  3. The creeps responsible should be locked up and starved!!!! The same treatment they gave all the innocent animals

  4. I prefer the people be put to death since they have no heart or feelings therefore are not fixable, however since that can’t be done,a very, very long jail term would be appropriate for them.

  5. Michelle Stewart says:

Those bastards ARE guilty. Real justice would be to give them the death penalty. Since that won’t happen, each person must serve 20 years in prison with no early parole, each person pay a $500,000 fine, and each person be banned for life from owning or going near any animals ever again.

  6. Jane Todaro says:

These people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and never allowed near an animal ever again!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH SOME PEOPLE?????!!!!!!

If you own animals you have a moral and ethical obligation to properly care for them. If you’re unwilling or unable to do so, you have a moral and ethical obligation to surrender them to an individual or an organization that can. ANIMAL ABANDONMENT should be a crime. Prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law for multiple counts of egregious animal neglect and cruelty, make them PAY ALL VET BILLS to restore all survivors to full health and BAN them from ever purchasing, owning, caring for, living with or working with any animals ever again.

  10. Animals shall NOT be VICTIMS of human sadistic psychopaths. Animal abuse shall be treated as any human abuse. These animals DESERVE JUSTICE – just like YOU and ME!
People responsible for the fate of these innocent animals must be given a prison sentence and NO LONGER BE legally ALLOWED to have pets. MAX JAIL!

  11. Unacceptable these people need prison time. With all the people that sign these petitions animal cruelty should be stopped. These abusers need to have their names made public . Give the maximum sentence .

  12. Shawna Flottemesch says:

Stop wasting money putting these things into prison. Caught them, skin them alive, boil them alive, cut them up into same pieces and feed them to the Earth

Fuckers deserve to due a slow death

    • I agree with you. Why not give them the same treatment they gave all the innocent animals. Justice for these poor animals. Eye for an eye.

  13. Dear Editor,

You are asking us to sign this petition and we will. My question is: what have you done as a responsible person? Have you reported this to the Police?

The lowlife animal torturing murdering monster human psychopathic bastard/s who deliberately and heinously neglected precious and innocent pets to suffer and die inside an apartment must be brought to Justice and put to death.
The lowlife psychopathic monster/s will continue torturing and murdering innocent and helpless sentient beings if not eradicated from our planet. Kill the lowlife monster bastard/s slowly.
RIP the precious souls who were tortured to death.
I pray the precious animals that were saved are adopted by an animal loving family.

  16. These vile scumbags must have the death penalty implemented.I am ready, willing and able to help with this procedure!

  17. Deneen Tokich says:

These animals were NOT ABANDONED. This is a case of cruelty. The two residents STILL lived there. Someone seen the dead dog and reported them. The dog was found on the floor in plain sight. Neighbors report having seen the ferrets alive in the window and the abusers walking a 3 legged dog prior to them being caught. I have no idea why police won’t release their names?! I wish the author of this petition would correct the text. IT IS A CASE OF CRUELTY NOT ABANDONMENT.
