Goal: Punish man who allegedly shot pets to discipline children.
In a shocking act of parental discipline, an Oklahoma man allegedly killed his daughter’s pet dogs as punishment for not doing chores. The accused now faces animal cruelty charges and, if found guilty, should receive the maximum available punishment.
The alleged incident began when the teenage girl and her brother were staying with their father. The children allege that when the accused discovered dirty dishes in the sink, he became extremely angry and demanded the children get out of his house. After the girl went home with her mother, she reportedly returned to her father’s house later to find the dogs missing. A witness alleges that the girl’s father, Jeffrey Don Edwards, shot the two dogs living on the premises as retribution for the argument. Authorities later discovered both dogs’ bodies a short distance from the home.
If these allegations prove true, two innocent animals lost their lives because of a domestic dispute. Sign this petition to demand justice for these living beings allegedly left at the mercy of a cruel and violent caretaker.

Dear District Attorney Prater,
The case of Jeffrey Don Edwards is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic disputes. As in so many cases, innocent lives were allegedly lost. The circumstances surrounding this animal cruelty case should aggravate, not mitigate, the alleged crime.
An individual who would allegedly harm not one but two beloved pets as a twisted form of “punishment” for his children is not an individual who should be granted leniency. Not only were these animals allegedly executed in a cold, cruel manner, but their bodies were equally coldly disposed of. Further, this reported action has shattered the trust, humanity, and caring that should inform the relationship between a parent and a child. If this man did indeed shoot to kill his child’s cherished pets, he did not just commit animal cruelty. He enacted a destructive form of child abuse.
Please ensure that if found guilty, this alleged abuser will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

I suppose he deserves some kind of psych evaluation and, if found culpable, should get the maximum sentence under the law. Imagine the damage he has done to these children. He truly is a disgrace before man and God and must be held to account. Being left alone with him in a locked room would permit many of us to express the outrage we feel with out fists

Nevertheless, your suggestion is great, because many hardcore criminals in prison would hopefully make him their bitch. That would be a message for future potential animal murderers.

Yep, taking an innocent life (animal or human) should be returned with the same thing, only difference is that he’s not innocent. So let’s not waste hardworking taxpayer’s money and get rid of the POS the old fashioned way.

I’d shoot him right in the face and I surely would enjoy it and have no regrets. A piece of garbage like this one has, in my personal opinion, given up the right to live the moment he brutally murdered those innocent furbabies. Garbage like this guy doesn’t deserve prison, because it’s as if he were rewarded for his brutality against innocent creatures. No free room and board for this POS. Shoot him and feed his carcass to the buzzards.
I have no compassion for anyone who hurts, abuses, murders the innocent, children and animals alike. Taking a life should be punished by losing the right to live. Murder is murder, no exceptions. They all start with innocent animals and then move on to innocent children.

BTW, these kind of incidents get me so angry that I really can’t be blamed for having no compassion for garbage like this guy. Back in the good old days the punishment process would have not even been an issue. They’d used a bullet or a rope…..case closed.

We are getting to be a ruthless country with no value for life. I don’t think I can see much more before going into a depression. It’s just sad, the mentality of someone to kill his daughters dogs for not doing dishes . Not only does this jerk need to be banned from owning a pet, His daughters should go in foster care. I can see PTSD in their poor futures.
