Goal: Find whomever is responsible for setting off fireworks that were found strapped to a cat’s back.
A cat was discovered with two ignited firework rockets strapped to his or her back in Derbyshire, U.K. While he or she was still alive moments after the explosion occurred, the person who found the cat said that all the fur was missing and that a leg had been violently ripped off. Tragically, this cat died before emergency vets could arrive on the scene. The vile sadists responsible are not known at this time, and we must demand justice for this innocent cat.
The woman who reported the incident to local police said she feared that it was related to local Bonfire Night events taking place at the time, and she urged other pet owners to keep their animals indoors as a result. Unfortunately, this is not the first time an animal has suffered animal abuse in the area. Earlier this year, an elderly cat was kicked and tortured by a group of youths less than a half a mile away from where this event occurred.
While it is not known if there is link between this horrific discovery and other reports of abuse, more must be done to ensure that the perpetrator of this sickening act be found. Sign this petition to demand that local police use all available resources to find and punish whomever is responsible.

Dear Chief Constable Goodman,
A cat was recently found in Alvaston with two rockets strapped to his or her back. According to the man who discovered the cat, it appeared that the rockets had exploded and had severely mutilated the animal. This innocent cat died moments later and we demand justice for this sickening case of animal abuse.
Sadly, this is not the first time a cat has been tortured in the Alvaston area, as shown in the case earlier this year when local youths callously beat a 19-year-old family pet. While it is not known if these incidents are connected, I urge you utilize all necessary resources to find whoever is responsible to prevent future acts of abuse and violence against animals.

I cried when I read this. What has become of us as people? How did our societies create such sadistic monsters, void of heart and soul. Even going to hell is too good for these sick evil demons.
And let me say this, someone saw or heard this going on. Someone did and choose to do nothing. People that are good and decent HAVE TO stand up and start fighting back against this evil.

What kind of so-called humans get a thrill out of torturing a helpless animal?–a very sick sociopath.
The world is overwhelmed with these monsters who are a danger to ALL living beings! It is pathetically sad that these butchers never learn from their parents to care about others and be kind, and so often, at a young age, begin injuring and killing harmless creatures–who suffer physically and emotionally, as do humans. The difference is that animals are not cruel just to cause pain, as many humans are.
Any freak who intentionally harms innocent living creatures needs to be stopped and punished. They will continue to be dangerous!

Twisted, sick, disgusting excuses for humans. Until animal welfare laws are made much stronger and then enforced, there will be no deterrent to those pieces of dung who get off on the terror and pain of other living beings.

There is nothing to stop teenagers or younger children doing this in the UK because there is no proper punishment anymore. People can do whatever they like and know that nothing is really going to happen to them. There is no shame, self respect and there are no morals. We live in broken society that for the most part care nothing for animals at all. We call ourselves a nation of animal lovers, what a joke, animal keepers is a far more fitting description. The law is too soft on subhuman trash like this. We need to show them we mean business on animal abuse. How any human can harm a 19 year old family pet is beyond me. i sign too many petitions of cruelty in UK. We should take as a danger signal of these people mentality. tomorrow they will not hesitate to do same to humans. Strict actions should be taken to give lessons to other. they should not be spared. Disgusting and sick mentality.

All animal owners must keep their pets safe by keeping them in, especially on bonfire night,no you shouldn’t have to,but unfortunately that’s the only way to protect them from this kind of vermin,as the law sure doesn’t.

Animal cruelty must become a death penalty crime, time to clean up the human garbage in the world. I would put fireworks up these sick humans asses and light em up. Peel them with a dull potato peeler and roll them in salt. Fireworks strapped to their balls and set off!

Find these POS subhuman, stuff fireworks in their mouth and up their ass and set them on fire. This may get the attention of others that get the idea of torturing animals for the fun of it. If he or they survive put them in jail for extended period of time or let me have them for 1 hour and I’ll take care of the problem.
