Angry shareholders in a Chinese zoo fed a live donkey to tigers as a way to protest a court’s decision they didn’t like. The shareholders stated that they voted in favor of this horrific act because the court froze the zoo’s assets and they were no longer receiving profits. Demand justice for this innocent donkey torn to bits by tigers.
Shocking video footage showed the men pushing the frightened donkey down into the tiger enclosure. The tigers pounced on the donkey almost immediately and mauled it for thirty minutes before it finally died. The shareholders also planned to send a sheep into the enclosure, but zoo officials stopped them in time to save the sheep.
Officials at Yancheng Safari Park issued an apology, stating that they are working on improving their safety standards. They will be holding a meeting to “calm shareholders’ nerves.” However, this horrific act of cruelty cannot go unpunished. A donkey suffered tremendously and died after a zoo’s shareholders fed it to tigers. Video footage showed the donkey resisting while men dressed in red robes forced it into a tiger enclosure. We demand justice for this innocent donkey.
Visitors looked on in horror as the tigers mauled the helpless donkey to death. Per witness reports, it brayed in pain and desperately tried to get away. The shareholders stated that they sacrificed the live animal in protest of the court’s decision to freeze the zoo’s assets.
This poor animal did not deserve to suffer a cruel death in the name of protest. We demand that you bring charges against the men responsible and punish them to the maximum degree.

Oh Laurent, you should have seen the poor dog that a bunny friend of mine just posted from China. This man had the dog tied up to the fence and was skinning him alive right in full view of anybody who walked by. No one stopped him. It has become just another thing over there. That is why I am against these snake owners of these horrible huge pythons being able to own these snakes. They feed live rabbits to these awful snakes. I have a rescued rabbit who was in the snake cage with the snake for 3 days and the snake would not eat him because the idiot owner got the snake too cold and the snake had a cold. We need to stop anyone from feeding any live animal to other live animals. A snakes life is not more important than a rabbits life. these wild life rahabbers also feed live rabbits to raptors so they can become accustomed to hunting their own food. Yes we know about them. How do you think we are able to know about these things going on from there to here. There are a few Chinese activists who are trying to make things better for animals in their country, but the government refuses to listen. One of them sent a photo of a dog being skinned alive while the regular Chinese people just walked on by. The activists need help because there are so few of them and the government would just as soon put them in jail as the abusers.
Sorry Gilda, but there are not enough of them and the vast majority see animals only as products that can be exploited. The good news is that children are being taught humane education and many young people have a different view on animals and that they’re sentient beings. However it is going to take years to eliminate the extreme abuse and exploitation Asians do to animals. That’s why people are so frustrated and angry, because they just.do.NOT.listen.PERIOD!! It is one thing when IN THE WILD, tigers hunt prey animals, it is another thing to put both predator and prey in an unnatural environment where the predator has really not much work to do and the prey no chance to try to escape. It is cruel for both of them. Tigers should NOT be in zoos and live donkeys should not be fed to them.
