Dozens of Animals Allegedly Found Dead and Freezing: Seek Urgent Justice

Target: J. Anthony (Tony) Jordan, District Attorney of Washington County, New York

Goal: Pursue full prosecution after dozens of animals were allegedly discovered dead, freezing, or without food, water, or shelter.

A profoundly disturbing situation has emerged after authorities allegedly discovered numerous animals living in horrific and neglectful conditions at a rural property. Several animals were reportedly already dead when help first arrived, while others were allegedly found without adequate food, water, or proper shelter. Reports further indicate that some birds were left outside in freezing temperatures with snow inside their cages, and a decapitated pig was also reportedly found among the deceased animals, intensifying concern about prolonged suffering.

Investigators reportedly seized surviving animals including dogs, pigs, rabbits, and multiple species of birds, many of whom allegedly required urgent relocation to sanctuaries or veterinary facilities for care. Authorities later arrested an individual who now faces multiple criminal counts connected to alleged overdriving, torturing, injuring animals, and failure to provide proper sustenance. These reported findings suggest a pattern of neglect severe enough to result in death, exposure, and extreme deprivation among defenseless creatures.

Alleged cruelty on this scale demands decisive legal accountability and firm enforcement of animal protection laws. Meaningful prosecution wherever evidence supports the allegations is essential to safeguard vulnerable animals, deter future abuse, and affirm that suffering will not be tolerated. This petition therefore calls for full legal enforcement and penalties consistent with the gravity of the alleged harm.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Jordan,

We write to express grave concern regarding reports that dozens of animals were found dead, freezing, or deprived of food, water, and shelter at a single property. Authorities reportedly discovered birds exposed to snow and extreme cold, as well as a decapitated pig among deceased animals, indicating suspected neglect and prolonged suffering.

Surviving animals were seized and transferred for emergency care, while an individual has been arrested and charged with multiple counts related to alleged cruelty and failure to provide proper sustenance. Because the alleged conduct resulted in death, exposure, and extreme deprivation affecting numerous vulnerable animals, the matter raises urgent concerns about accountability, deterrence, and community protection.

We respectfully urge your office to pursue thorough prosecution and to seek penalties that reflect the seriousness of the alleged cruelty wherever evidence substantiates wrongdoing. Strong enforcement is essential to protect animals, reinforce legal accountability, and prevent future alleged harm.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
