Starved Puppy Allegedly Abandoned in Freezing Weather Deserves Justice

Target: Sonya Allen, District Attorney of Cobb County, GA

Goal: Prosecute individual reportedly involved in abandonment and neglect of puppy to fullest extent.

A surveillance video captured a disturbing act of alleged animal abandonment. A man was reportedly seen walking away from a cage where a labradoodle-like puppy was trapped in freezing weather. But the outrage didn’t end there.

A good Samaritan rescued the puppy, who was taken to a veterinarian. Upon examination, the vet reported that the small dog had lost large amounts of muscle. The animal possessed almost no body fat, per the vet, so several bones were protruding from the puppy’s emaciated body.

Since the suspect was caught on tape, an eventual identification is likely. Sign the petition below to demand prosecutors bring maximum charges when an arrest is made.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Allen,

Animal abandonment rises during cold winter months: a harsh reality that leads to endangerment and preventable cruelty. This fate reportedly befell a caged, emaciated puppy left behind on a freezing night. The defenseless animal’s horrific physical condition indicates that cruel neglect likely preceded the alleged abandonment.

If not for the intervention of a good Samaritan, this animal could have died in agony. If and when a suspect is identified, please treat the case in a manner that reflects the grave nature of the apparent offense.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
