A disturbing video reportedly shows a 26-year-old woman crouching beside a tiny Chihuahua named Rico and repeatedly discharging a taser inside his enclosed crate. The terrified dog can be heard yelping while another person apparently laughs in the background. Police swiftly arrested the suspect, who now faces charges of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Humane-society staff indicate that Rico remains physically healthy but is visibly traumatized—timid, skittish, and recoiling from human contact. Emotional wounds inflicted by electrical shocks and confinement can linger long after bruises fade, leaving small companion animals fearful for life. Such treatment not only violates fundamental welfare standards; it also signals a disregard for laws intended to protect vulnerable creatures.
Meaningful accountability is essential. Anything less risks normalizing torture masquerading as “discipline” or “fun.” Sign below and demand a decisive court outcome, maximum jail time, substantial fines, restitution for veterinary care, and a permanent prohibition on keeping animals to affirm society’s commitment to safeguarding pets from cruelty and deter future acts of violence.

Police reports and video evidence reportedly reveal a Chihuahua named Rico shrieking in pain while a woman discharges a taser directly into his cage. The suspect has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering and with illegal possession of the weapon used in this apparent assault.
This small dog, now under humane-society care, is said to be physically sound yet profoundly traumatized. Electrical shocks delivered in close quarters can inflict lasting psychological harm and demonstrate an alarming contempt for life. Laughing in the background, as reported, only compounds the cruelty.
We respectfully urge your office to pursue the maximum penalties permitted by law, including incarceration, significant fines, restitution for Rico’s rehabilitation, and a lifelong ban on animal ownership. A strong prosecutorial stance will honor Rico’s suffering, reinforce Ontario’s animal-protection statutes, and send a clear message that violence against defenseless pets will not be tolerated.

There needs to be a ‘people’s uprising ‘ against these animal torturing arrogant sods. It HAS got to be eye for an eye treatment for these buggers as nothing else will stop them as this torture and murder is in their genes!
They HAVE to do it as it gives them a feeling of power over something that cannot fight back. These are bastards who need beating shitless so they will hopefully get the idea that this is what happens when you torture innocent animals. This Is— the only way these turds will learn. If you are caught or are found to have been abusing or torturing animal animal then beware. Some one could be watching you you bastard. And- you will not know when it is going to happen!

I couldn’t agree more. I would take the greatest delight in caging and tasering this woman for hours on end. This is the ONLY way these bastards will learn and if they happen to die in the process, so much the better. No use to anyone.
Pity the police didn’t taser this psychotic piece of human trash….lets hope she gets a PROPER punishment along with the heartless POS that was laughing in the background. I agree entirely. I sure would give these two bastards a ‘taser’ no problem. And it would be right up the buggers arses to see how high the sods would jump. These two cunts would seriously NOT want to meet me. Of that I can genuinely guarantee!
What is needed is a Hunt the ‘perps’ week whereby anyone can legally hunt and find these bastards and beat them shitless. Or if they expired then no problem and no repercussions. But- you and I know this will NEVER happen. This is why Vigilante and Animal activist groups are needed to show the useless Judicial system that animal torture and murder will NOT be tolerated.
Petitions saying ‘death’ to all animal torturers and murderers outside any appropriate courthouses to shake the buggers up somewhat,. make a noise, let the police get involved as long as the protests are peaceful they can only move you on. Then, just come back again! They seem to be still having problems with the ‘ban oil brigade’ so hopefully we could have a BAN ALL ANIMAL TORTURERS AND MURDERERS. Genuinely get on people’s nerves so they know it is serious!

As an Ontarian, I am sickened and revolted to learn this. I urge the authorities to charge and sentence this psychopath to the fullest extent of the law and to ban her from ever owning another animal.
