Target: Bradley R. Burget, District Attorney for Concordia Parish, Louisiana

Goal: Seek severe legal repercussions for the reported forced dog fighting activities and resulting cruelty.

A dog fighting operation was apparently uncovered by law enforcement on a sprawling 28-acre property, where multiple dogs were found wandering and possibly used in violent, organized battles. A caretaker was arrested on more than 40 charges of animal cruelty, raising grave concerns about the well-being of the seized dogs. Such brutal activities, if confirmed, subject innocent creatures to horrific injuries, ongoing fear, and severe neglect.

According to local officials, they received complaints of roaming dogs in poor condition, prompting an investigation and eventual raids on the property. The dogs allegedly faced deplorable circumstances and potential forced combat, an egregious violation of existing animal welfare laws and ethical norms. Those found responsible for orchestrating or enabling these fights seem to have placed profits or twisted entertainment over the health and safety of these defenseless animals.

Meaningful consequences for acts of cruelty are essential to end a suspected cycle of abuse. Tough penalties can deter others from engaging in or turning a blind eye to similar crimes. Sign below to demand justice in a case involving dozens of voiceless victims and request authorities enforce the law with full severity to protect these animals and prevent future suffering.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Bradley R. Burget,

A large-scale investigation revealed an alleged dog fighting ring on an extensive piece of land, leading to the arrest of a suspect on numerous cruelty charges. This alarming scenario, in which multiple dogs were apparently forced to engage in brutal and exploitative battles, poses a serious threat to both animal welfare and community safety.

The suspected fights, combined with the reportedly deplorable conditions under which the dogs lived, highlight the need for robust legal action. Officials have emphasized the horrific nature of dog fighting, where animals often sustain grievous physical and emotional harm and are deprived of the care they need and deserve.

We respectfully request that your office continue to investigate these disturbing claims and, if confirmed by evidence, impose the strictest possible punishments on all those deemed responsible. A strong and decisive response will affirm the principle that heinous cruelty toward animals is neither accepted nor tolerated in our society.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Please shut down and impose permanent ban on such cruelty inhumane activities. Make animal cruelty a felony and impose very harsh punishments like long imprisonment, canning and heavy fines. Animals are like humans, they are sentient beings thus they should be accorded the same protection, love and respect as well. Toughen animal welfare laws against animal cruelty please!

  2. A horrid state for animals even if they have improved.
