Demand Justice for Dog Allegedly Suffering Severe Rib Cage Injury Under Man’s Care

Target: Clinton County, Kansas Prosecutor

Goal: Hold Kevin S. Feitz accountable for allegedly inflicting severe abuse on two dogs under his care.

In a horrifying case from Lathrop, Kevin S. Feitz, a 33-year-old man, has been formally charged with animal abuse after alarming allegations emerged of systematic cruelty towards two innocent dogs. Authorities were alerted to potentially life-threatening conditions for the dogs by witnesses living in Feitz’s household, bringing to light a pattern of disturbing behavior. One of the dogs allegedly suffered a serious injury to its rib cage, a condition that could have been deliberately inflicted, raising urgent concerns for animal welfare advocates and local residents alike.

The allegations detail a distressing situation where the dogs endured physical harm at the hands of their owner. Witnesses have come forward to describe a troubling environment, pointing to potential violence and neglect that could have serious implications for both the animals and anyone else living in the residence. The gravity of the injuries allegedly sustained by the dogs necessitates immediate action and justice, underscoring the critical need for holding Feitz accountable for his purported actions.

To ensure the protection of animals from such cruel treatment, it is imperative that the legal proceedings against Feitz reflect the severity of the allegations. The charges he faces are a call to action for community members to advocate for stronger measures against animal cruelty. The demand is clear: the prosecutor’s office must pursue appropriate punishment that reflects the serious nature of these charges to prevent further suffering and to send a message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecutor,

The case against Kevin S. Feitz, charged with animal abuse following alarming allegations of cruelty towards two dogs, has prompted significant concern amongst community members and animal welfare advocates. Reports indicate that Feitz engaged in a pattern of behavior that resulted in serious physical harm to at least one of the dogs in his care—an injury severe enough to draw the attention of authorities after a concerned witness raised alarms about the safety of the animals and others nearby.

This situation reflects not only the horrific reality of animal abuse but also raises critical questions about safety in the community. There is an urgent need for justice for the dogs who may have suffered due to Feitz’s actions. It is essential that the legal process surrounding this case captures the magnitude of the alleged animal cruelty and holds the responsible individual accountable.

We urge your office to pursue the maximum penalties allowable under the law for these alleged acts of cruelty. Justice must prevail for the innocent animals affected, and your commitment to uphold animal welfare standards protects not just the victims, but the community at large from similar tragedies in the future.

Sincerely,

  1. These innocent babies deserve a good loving home, where they can be loved, respected and live out their lives happily. Please do not return them to their abusive owner Kevin S. Feitz. He must face harsh punishment in prison for animal cruelty felony charges for as long as possible.

  2. Authorities must follow up to make sure that KF doesnt have these poor dogs in his care. The dogs have been abused and tortured in his home and it must stop. The dogs must be removed now before something else bad happens and he must be punished to the max jail time, fined and banned from having any animals ever.
These two dogs deserve justice and we the public are watching to make sure that happens!
