Dogs Reportedly Found Trapped in Feces-Filled Crates Deserve Justice

Target: Dave Aronberg, State Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida

Goal: Ensure maximum legal consequences for the allegedly responsible for the death and suffering of multiple dogs.

Palm Beach County deputies recently discovered a heartbreaking scene of alleged animal neglect in a Loxahatchee home. Among the findings was Baby, a 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, whom officers say they found deceased in a crate surrounded by waste. Three other dogs were reportedly confined in similarly dire conditions, left to suffer in crates full of feces and urine without access to food or water.

Mossy, a 2-year-old brindle dog, was allegedly found in critical condition, emaciated and unable to stand, while Sig, a black Malinois, and Ruger, a black Rottweiler, were confined in inhumane quarters. Rescuers say the home was left without running water or electricity for weeks and reeked of urine and feces, creating an unlivable environment for the animals.

The owner, Jason Faroni, has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated animal cruelty and deprivation of care. However, eventual penalties must reflect the gravity of the charges. Sign below and demand justice be served.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear State Attorney Aronberg,

An alleged animal cruelty case in Loxahatchee has left the community outraged and heartbroken. Palm Beach County deputies reportedly found four dogs living in unthinkable conditions. Among them was Baby, a 13-year-old Yorkie, whom officers said was found deceased in a waste-filled crate. Three other dogs—Mossy, Sig, and Ruger—were allegedly discovered confined in similar conditions, emaciated and without access to food or water.

Mossy was reportedly in a critical state, too weak to stand and lying in her waste. Deputies say the home’s lack of running water and electricity only exacerbated the suffering of these animals. The level of apparent neglect is both shocking and deeply distressing.

We urge your office to pursue maximum penalties against Jason Faroni, who has been charged in this case, to ensure justice for Baby and the other dogs. This case must serve as a precedent that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
