Don’t Let Individual Accused of Killing 12 Animals Adopt Again

Target: Han Duck-soo, Prime Minister of South Korea

Goal: Prevent a suspected serial animal abuser from adopting more animals and ensure the safety of any animals in their custody.

An individual identified only as Ahn was accused of adopting and killing at least 11 cats and a dog under their care. Despite the gravity of the case, Ahn was released on probation and is currently awaiting a second trial. Now, disturbing reports suggest Ahn may have resumed adopting animals, raising alarm about the safety of a new cat seen in a photo seemingly taken at their residence.

Ahn’s past actions reportedly include adopting animals under false pretenses, subjecting them to unspeakable abuse, and taking the life of a dog within just one day of care. The potential presence of another cat at Ahn’s residence has heightened concerns, as history indicates the animal could be in immediate danger. A non-profit animal rights organization, KARA, attempted to verify the cat’s safety but received no response, and local authorities have been hesitant to proceed without further evidence.

This situation highlights glaring gaps in South Korea’s animal protection measures, as individuals with documented histories of suspected abuse can reportedly continue adopting animals. Stronger laws and decisive enforcement are urgently needed to prevent further harm to innocent lives. We call on the South Korean prime minister to take immediate action to investigate the welfare of any animals in Ahn’s custody and to prohibit individuals with suspected histories of animal cruelty from adopting or caring for animals in the future.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear PM Han Duck-soo,

The recent reports involving a suspected serial animal abuser, identified as Ahn, have raised grave concerns.  Ahn was accused of adopting and killing at least 11 cats and a dog. Now, there are allegations that Ahn may have resumed adopting animals, with a cat apparently seen in a photo at their residence. Given Ahn’s history of suspected cruelty, this animal could be in immediate danger.

Despite Ahn’s suspected abuse, there appears to be no mechanism in place to prevent such individuals from adopting or interacting with animals. This poses a serious risk to vulnerable creatures and highlights the urgent need for stronger enforcement of animal protection laws.

We urge you to act swiftly to investigate this case under Article 86 of South Korea’s Animal Protection Act. If animals are found in Ahn’s custody, their safety must be ensured immediately. Additionally, we call for stronger measures to prevent individuals with suspected histories of abuse from adopting or caring for animals in the future. Protecting these innocent lives is a moral and legal obligation.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

The police will do NOTHING to prevent this vile, depraved, psychotic piece of human trash from killing more animals, in fact they’ll probably encourage him as most South Korean masses actually ENJOY abusing, torturing, killing and even EATING innocent, defenseless dogs and cats. Disgusting, brutal country inhabited by equally disgusting, cruel, brutal, sadistic, barbaric masses.

Please rescue this beautiful innocent cat out of the hands of this violent animal killer. This non-human monster should be stopped and punished by the full force of the law for his horrible crimes against so many defenceless animals. These animals are actually living beings with feelings. This means they feel exactly the same way as a human would if/when abused and brutally murdered. Therefore action needs to be swiftly taken against this predatory scum. He is only taking in these poor animals for his sick pleasure of tormenting, torturing and killing them. Apart from this he is not interested in looking after them.
