Target: The Rt Hon Suella Braverman MP, UK Home Secretary
Goal: Combat online animal cruelty networks and prevent the torture of animals for entertainment.
Two women have been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to sharing obscene images and videos of monkey torture in online groups. The disturbing case unveiled a global network where individuals encouraged and participated in the abuse of monkeys, raising serious concerns about the effectiveness of current laws in preventing animal cruelty facilitated through the internet.
The women were members of private online chat groups that promoted the torture of animals, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the well-being of sentient creatures. This case highlights the urgent need for stronger legislation and enforcement mechanisms to combat animal cruelty, especially in the digital realm where such activities can proliferate unchecked.
Animal welfare organizations and advocates are calling for immediate action to strengthen laws that address online platforms used to promote and disseminate animal abuse. Enhanced cooperation between law enforcement agencies and stricter penalties for offenders are essential to deter such inhumane activities.
By taking decisive action, authorities can help protect animals from cruelty and those who engage in or facilitate such acts are held accountable. Provide law enforcement with the necessary tools to combat these heinous crimes effectively.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear Home Secretary Suella Braverman,
I am writing to express deep concern over the recent case where two women were jailed for their involvement in an online network promoting the torture of monkeys. This disturbing incident highlights a significant gap in our current legislation regarding animal cruelty facilitated through digital platforms.
The existence of such online groups demonstrates that individuals are able to encourage and participate in animal abuse with relative impunity, exploiting the anonymity and reach of the internet. This not only results in unimaginable suffering for the animals involved but also reflects a broader societal issue that requires urgent attention.
I urge you to take immediate action to strengthen laws and enforcement mechanisms against online animal cruelty networks. This includes implementing stricter penalties for those who participate in or facilitate such acts, enhancing monitoring of online platforms, and promoting international cooperation to tackle these global networks.
By addressing this issue decisively, you will help protect innocent animals from horrific abuse and send a clear message that such cruelty has no place in our society.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

Its now Nov 2024; two monkey torture “customers” who are women have been sentenced recently, possibly this same pair. Despite there existing a 5 year max tariff for this, the judge gave them far less, which will be cut in half again by the sick and depraved UK judicial system, added to which “two tier Keir” the recently arrived PM has chosen to dish out indiscriminate amnesties and commmuted sentences to vast numbers of criminals(supposedly only non violent but thats failed already with extreme domestic abusers being freed, despite their attempted murder sentences) so between incompetant govt and corrupt and bribeable judiciary, these pair will be out in under 6 months a piece for sure. Its reaching a point in UK where we who are just going about daily life will have no choice but to arm ourselves whenever we leave home, simply to ward off the lawless and criminal, as the law no longer offers any protection; its far too busy investigation hurty words and people who drop angry hot headed twitter posts to actually enforce actual laws now, so what can we do but defend ourselves by any means? If you can, stay away from UK, its a very dangerous place and only getting worse
