Five Dogs Callously Killed and Dumped in Drain Deserve Justice

Target: Amit Shah, Home Minister of India

Goal: Increase penalties for animal cruelty after five dogs were found dead in a ditch.

In Mumbai’s Kandivali West area, five dogs were found dead in a drain near Mangalmayi Tower in Sai Nagar. This tragic incident has caused significant distress among local residents and animal activists, who are demanding justice for the innocent animals. While an investigation is underway, the perpetrators have not yet been identified.

Animal welfare organizations have organized a candlelight vigil to honor the lives of the five dogs and call for an end to animal cruelty in the country. Activists are urging authorities to increase the fines for animal cruelty under Section 325 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita from the current Rs 50 to Rs 50,000. They believe that stricter penalties will deter such acts and bring about meaningful change in society.

The increase in animal cruelty incidents highlights the urgent need for stronger laws and better enforcement to protect animals. Raise awareness and advocate for legislative change.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Honorable Minister Amit Shah,

I am writing to express deep concern over the recent incident in Mumbai where five dogs were killed and dumped in a drain in Kandivali West’s Sai Nagar. This tragic event has not only caused distress among local residents but also highlights a worrying trend of increasing animal cruelty in our country.

Despite existing laws under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, the penalties for animal cruelty remain minimal and may not serve as an effective deterrent. The current fine of Rs 50 under Section 325 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita is insufficient to prevent such acts of cruelty.

I urge you to consider increasing the penalties for animal cruelty from Rs 50 to Rs 50,000. Stricter laws and harsher fines will send a strong message that animal abuse is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. By taking this step, we can work towards preventing future incidents and promoting a more compassionate society.

Please take immediate action to strengthen animal welfare laws and ensure that justice is served for the innocent animals who have suffered.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. There just is not shortage of cruelty in this world. The only way to stop it, is to make the punishment the same as the crime.

  2. India yet again. Make the punishment fit the crime for the inhumans who did this

    • India is a nasty shit hole where animal cruelty is the norm. It’s not just dogs it’s elephants, cows in some areas, donkeys, monkeys.. there’s no end to it and that’s without mentioning the abuse of women and girls. It’s hard to believe this is the nation that gave the world Mahatma Gandhi

      • Agee with you 110%. It’s not just in India. It’s everywhere. That’s why I hate the so called educated world

      • As long as I can watch shows like ‘Animal Cops’ and get vet stories with abused animals being brought in it goes to show that animal abuse is rampant on every continent. Clean up your own back yard before calling others out. Animal abusers everywhere need to be prosecuted and harshly.

NO THESE LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS SICK PHYCOPATHS ALL NEED TO BE EXACUTED THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ANIMAL ABUSE WILL STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Exactly right.
This IS the ONLY way these diseased brained bastards will be stopped.
Let the punishment fit the crime! And we all know what that is!
            Let VIGILANTE Justice prevail!!

  3. India has gained a reputation for callousness in it’s treatment of women, lower classes and animals. It’s about time the country starts sending different messages.

  4. So depraved and disgusting they deserve the same

  5. Animals children women in these countries are killed they are barbarians and pos

  6. Humans everywhere are such assholes. Why don’t they just leave animals alone if they don’t like them? Please prosecute these monsters.

    • Thank you Ugh Fed Up. Racists come out when India is mentioned. Morons that do not know this goes on EVERYWHERE. What are excuses for when U.S. does the same exact thing to cats and dogs. Little do these idiots know that MAGAt parts of Staten Island and Long Island.N.Y. shoot feral cats because they are considered vermin. Too lazy to fix them when rescue groups WILL PAY FOR IT.

      • It is you who are missing the point. It does not matter where these sick atrocities happen, they are committed by monsters and no-one actually cares what country they are from, we are all well aware that they can be any race but it does not help the victims when you stupidly infer that it is okay for India to do it because other countries do it. So just shut up.

  7. The guilty POS must all be next!🔥👈

  8. ANIMAL CRUELTY IS A WORLD WIDE HUMAN SICKNESS AND UNLESS JUSTICE SYSTEMS WORLD WIDE GROW A PAIR AND START ACTUALLY SETTING AND HANDING OUT SEVERE PUNISHMENT, THIS WILL NEVER END!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHERE ALL CRUELTY TO OTHER HUMANS STARTS!!!!! WHEN WE WILL FREAKIN GET IT AND STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERE ARE THE GOOD PEOPLE OVER THERE? THE ACTIVISTS?
    THE ONES WHO CARE?

  10. Good luck with this country. They treat women the same way. This petition will be used as toilet paper. Hopefully someone finds out who did this and kills them

  11. UncommonSenses says:

India again! Just blow those evil bastards off the face of the earth! Then there’s all the Asian countries to get rid of. I know the US has major problems with animal abuse, cruelty and killing too. I’d love to see state-by-state and federal laws stating that animal abusers are shot in the head and left for buzzard food within 1 week of being arrested. No talking, no excuses, no slack-ass prosecutors or judges, just 1 shot. I’m so bleeping sick of all these innocent animals having to endure human evilness.

  12. India again.

What, are they in a contest with China and the rest of Asia over which country is a worse piece of shit?

  13. Worthless human bastards

  14. Even before I read the petition, India popped into my head as it’s developing a dreadful reputation. Ugh!

  15. May all those who torture or abuse animals suffer a slow horrible painful death before they rot in hell!

  16. What the hell is wrong with people? I’m very serious here what is wrong with their brain to think this painful cruelty torture and suffering is okay? People here on these petition sites know it’s wrong so where is the disconnect? You shouldn’t have to be told this cruel painful torture causes extreme suffering it’s just wrong on every level!

    • They do it because it gives them a euphoric fix. Just like ‘waste of space druggies and alkies who have to get their fix no matter what!!
These pricks are ‘sick minded deceased brained bastards who need ‘snuffing out’ with no remorse! You murder or torture an innocent animal then you bloody die—- painfully!
As I have said many times before, the Judicial systems do not seem to have any deterrent and don’t give a ‘toss’ about animal abuse (ESPECIALLY INDIA).
So again, up to us ‘normal’ animal people to hunt these buggers down and do what is right. The useless law will not do anything so we will have to do it for them!
This IS going to happen- believe me!!!
      J.W.

  17. PROSECUTE AND LOCK UP THESE SICK AND EVIL MONSTERS OR THEY WILL NEVER STOP!!!
THESE POOR INNOCENT HELPLESS DOGS DESERVE JUSTICE AND OUR HELP TO END TORTURE AND MURDER TO THEM!!!
PUT THESE MURDERERS AWAY FOR LIFE!!!

  18. FAR TO MANY SO-CALLED HUMANS ARE REALLY F*CKING BASTARDS!
No animal deserves to be a victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!
Torturing animals has a brutalizing effect on our society and mankind as a whole.
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!

  19. Maria Lavorato says:

Amit Shah, Home Minister of India

It is so disheartening to keep reading such truly heart breaking tragedies. Your locals, animal activists and this petition is asking, pleading to please make all animal cruelty perpetrators accountable with stricter laws which are enforced to protect all your innocent animals. Start with education in schools to advocate for compassion for all living beings.

These five sweet dogs were trying to survive on the streets through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN! They did not deserve to meet such a horrific end. They were hurting NO ONE. Life of the streets is already dismal. There is no reason on this earth for anyone to harm any animal!! HELP THEM OR LEAVE THEM ALONE TO LIVE THEIR LIVES!!!!

You must find all the perpetrator and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE SO IT IS CLEAR TO ALL THAT ANIMAL CRUELTY WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED ON INDIA’S STREETS!!! THEY MUST PAY TO STOP THIS CYCLE EVIL TOWARD THE INNOCENT!!!!!
