Reality TV Star Accused of Hoarding and Dangerously Overfeeding Cats Must be Investigated

Target: Tyler Harper, Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture

Goal: Investigate alleged animal neglect and hoarding by reality TV star to ensure the welfare of her cats.

Meghan Crumpler, known for her appearance on 1000-lb Best Friends, has reportedly accumulated 11 cats in her residence. Concerns have been raised about the living conditions of these animals, as allegations suggest they may be subjected to neglect due to overcrowding and improper care. In one instance, she was reportedly seen pushing a morbidly obese cat in a stroller, raising alarms about the health and well-being of her pets.

Reports indicate that the cats she rescues appear to gain weight rapidly after a few months in her care, suggesting possible overfeeding and inadequate veterinary attention. The environment is allegedly cluttered, with food bowls scattered throughout her living space and cats visible in every corner. Such conditions may not only compromise the health of the animals but could also constitute animal hoarding, which is a serious welfare concern.

It is imperative that these allegations are thoroughly investigated to ensure the cats are living in safe and healthy conditions. Animal neglect and hoarding can lead to severe health issues for pets and may violate state animal welfare laws. Urge the Georgia Department of Agriculture to look into this matter promptly to protect the well-being of these animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Commissioner Harper,

I am writing to express my concern regarding reports of potential animal neglect and hoarding involving reality TV personality Meghan Crumpler. It has been alleged that she is currently keeping 11 cats in conditions that may not be conducive to their health and welfare. Instances have been reported where her pets appear to be overweight and possibly suffering due to overcrowding and inadequate care.

Animal hoarding is a serious issue that can lead to severe health complications for the animals involved, including malnutrition, disease, and decreased quality of life. The allegations suggest that the cats may be living in a cluttered and unsanitary environment, which could violate state animal welfare regulations.

I urge your department to conduct a thorough investigation into these claims to ensure the well-being of the animals in question. By addressing this situation promptly, you can help protect these cats from potential neglect and uphold the standards of animal welfare in our state.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. wtf is wrong with people?

    • Rhondelia Giebel says:

Exactly. I guess her being fat, she thinks her cats are okay being morbidly obese too. What a sorry, selfish woman!

  2. This REALLY needs to be looked at & not taken lightly. Monkey see, Monkey Do!! She’s pushing her Bad habits onto her cat(s). That obese one needs to be taken away, exercised & on a proper feeding regimen to lose weight!! She’s sick, she already has a disease, DON’T push it onto your Pets. Tx God she has no kids, they would have eating problems as well!!

  3. Yvonne Carr says:

I do believe the health of her cats is important. But don’t treat her as a criminal. I believe animal welfare should help her in learning to provide a clean environment, vet care, proper nutrition and exercise for them. Animal lovers intentions are usually good, but sometimes it becomes overwhelming. I think she deserves a chance to prove herself as long as nothing terrible is found upon investigation.

  4. I think next to the unthinkable torture that’s going on towards animals, evil, terrifying things, this is at least appearing to be with good intentions. Over- feeding points to mental health issues for herself and lack of education for her cats. Unless they are in unhealthy, unsanitary conditions, education is the best answer.

    • Do you know who she is? She is fully aware and comments on mental health issues constantly. She is on a reality show called 1000lb best friends. Do you understand the health implications that coincide with overfeeding your animals and overweight animals. Heart disease, diabetes. She had bariatric surgery because she cared to solve her own weight issues but you are saying it is ok for her to harm animals because she has mental health issues?! If she is aware enough to know its no good for he, she knows it is no good for her animals.

    • You are totally right. Most times, people do have good intentions but it gets overwhelming. Most cats don’t over eat so bowls of food can be left out for them to eat when they are hungry. Maybe the cats she has didn’t always have access to food so now they are overeating. Clearly, help should be offered.

  5. This individual is unable to manage their own life.
Reports of 11 obese and unvetted cats. Plus the unsanitary conditions. This is cruel.
Help these poor animals. If authorities do not step in and protect them, they are also responsible for their welfare. Remove them and get them the help they obviously need.
    This is so ridiculous.
Mental cases should not have animals.

  6. Hoarding in a mental illness. She most likely thinks she’s doing good not realizing she doing harm instead. Please get her the help she needs.

  7. All cats must be REMOVED from this mentally-deranged woman.
No animal deserves to be a victim of humans with mental disorder. Overfeeding animals is to considerably shorten their lives!
Take action, please, for the best of these obese cats and put them under the care of accredited vets and loving foster families.

  8. What a retard…..

  9. Lock her up and remove the cats

Please respond to this URGENTLY! It is clear this individual cannot properly care for any animal.

These poor little cats are being abused. Take all the cats into proper care and find find them new forever homes that actually put their well being FIRST!!! LET YOUR QUICK RESPONSE TO ADDRESS THIS DIRE SITUATION SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE THAT THIS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY AND NOT LOVE!!!!!

    • Most likely, due to an over population of cats bc of irresponsible owners, these cats will likely be euthanized like so many other, healthy cats and dogs are every day. If only there were more willing people to offer good, forever homes to the countless cats and dogs sitting in pounds and rescues

  11. Maria Lavorato says:

also, this sweet little cat, in the photo above, has had her life ruined by Meghan Crumpler. SAVE her and all the other cats ASAP!!!!

  12. Where will they go ????? There’s shelter overcrowding every where , will they be removed and wrongly euthanized ????? Which is the greater evil !!!!!! Terribly sad .

  13. Joseph Kenosky says:

This piece of garbage needs to be locked up!

    • If you’re not offering a solution you’re just inflating the problem. Are you willing to adopt these cats when their owner is “locked up”?

  14. Considering all the stray cats and cats at the pound who will likely be euthanized due to lack of space, I’m not about to wish ill on someone who is offering an alternative. Spend time going after people who deliberately abuse animals and sign petitions to free animals in slaughterhouses, they are the ones who need someone to fight for them since so many of you have no problem supporting the industries that cause more harm to animals than all other combined

    • I agree. She is trying to do right. Some should go and check them out. Make sure they are spayed and neutered and maybe check their teeth and tell her she may be over feeding. Maybe she just needs help. If people are that concerned ask her if she’d like to adopt them out.

      • Yup, she certainly needs some professional counselling and help. How many people are willing to provide a safe home and food for the strays? It takes commitment, time and money. Then again, I do hope that she is doing it not for fame but rather out of compassion and empathy. Wish her all the best!

  15. Don’t just sign this petition because someone took the time to email it to you and several others. Go to the Animal Welfare section and sign those petitions too. A guy punched a cat to death and so many other petitions are on behalf of dogs and cats that were neglected/abused, some to death.

    • Fully agree.
Have a look on Animal Victory site for one, and see what these animal torturing and murdering psycho bastards do to animals.
These are the sods who need an ‘eye for an eye’ Justice. Power to any ‘ Vigilante’ groups who can make this happen!!
      J.W.

      • There are so many animal abusers, I wish I could actively help them all. The Animal Liberation Front is the only organization I know of that tries to rescue animals in bad conditions and create problems for the people responsible.

  16. There are no kill in. I found one when I had to move. I was in an apartment and I hadn’t been able to get out in years. They were placed with a lovely woman who let me see how they were doing and she is going to take me to see Marleigh this month. Unfortunately, Miss Dolly had a tumor and had to be put to sleep. But there are no kill shelters out there.

  17. RITA VAN EECKENRODE says:

BLOW UP THAT MONSTER TILL SHE EXPLODE IN 100 PIECES. NO MERCY.

  18. THIS STUPID FAT BITCH CAN’T EVEN TAKE CARE OF HERSELF, LET ALONE OTHER LIVING BEINGS!!!!!

  19. Michelle S. says:

She’s only doing to them what she’s doing to herself….OVER EATING! All these cats need to be taken away from her and given a chance to live a normal, healthy life. The way she acts on the show; being immature is effecting the cats. She should “know” better and she doesn’t or she just doesn’t care. That in itself is…ABUSIVE.

    • Please do not think that I have gone soft headed here. She should know better but it seems that her brain is not functioning correctly!
BUT- one thing is doubly clear here. She is NOT STOMPING the cats heads, she is NOT SETTING FIRE TO THEM, she is NOT holding their tails and SMASHING THEM AGAINST A WALL, or TYING FIREWORKS TO THEIR TAILS, or BLASTING THEM WITH HOSEPIPES WHILST CONFINED TO A CAGE as depicted in other submissions here and in Animal Victory!!
So I expect you could say she is maybe killing them with uncaring kindness. Yes— she needs sorting out but not violently as it seems she is not totally aware of what she is doing!!
As many submitters here will know, I would be the first to execute an eye for an eye punishment for any animal torturing and murdering bastards who escape the law!
I do not think that I am being too soft on this occasion. Although I expect others will think differently. No matter we are all entitled to our thoughts and feelings, so if anyone wants to ‘ have a go’ I will in this occasion ‘ take it’ without any repercussions.
      J.W.

  20. Selena Power says:

I think people are loosing site of what’s going on here. This kind of thing is not black and white. Clearly, Meghan has something wrong. She is “hoarding animals” which means she needs help. It is not just the health of the cats at risk, it is also hers. Meghan needs to learn how to cope with what ever issues are going on with her in a healthier way. People like this can’t do that alone. They need someone with the tools to help them and support to lean on. No different than an addict at a meeting with a sponsor.
