Dog Allegedly Hung and Brutally Beaten by Owner’s Boyfriend Deserves Justice

Target: State Attorney Tom Bakkedahl, Florida

Goal: Prosecute the man allegedly responsible for brutally abusing a dog to the fullest extent of the law.

A 24-year-old Florida man was allegedly caught on video hanging and brutally beating his girlfriend’s nine-year-old Golden Retriever mix. The disturbing footage appears to show him hanging the dog from a leash and punching it repeatedly in the head and body. Witnesses have stated that this was not an isolated incident.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, along with their Animal Services Unit and the ASPCA, investigated the incident after the video surfaced. Experts who reviewed the video detailed the extent of the abuse, including alleged strangulation, blunt force trauma to the head, and severe emotional distress inflicted on the dog. The animal was removed from the home and received care at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, and has since been returned to its owner.

Such apparent acts of severe animal cruelty cannot be ignored. Legal action is essential to hold those allegedly responsible accountable and to send a strong message that animal abuse will not be tolerated. Prosecute the alleged offender to the fullest extent of the law to ensure justice for this innocent animal.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear State Attorney Tom Bakkedahl,

I am writing to express deep concern over the recent reports of severe animal abuse in Martin County, where a 24-year-old man allegedly hung and brutally beat his girlfriend’s nine-year-old dog. The disturbing video appears to show him hanging the dog from a leash and repeatedly punching it in the head and body, causing significant physical and emotional harm.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office and the ASPCA have investigated the incident, reportedly uncovering evidence of strangulation, blunt force trauma, and severe distress inflicted upon the dog. Such apparent cruelty towards a defenseless animal is not only unacceptable but also a serious violation of animal welfare laws.

I urge you to prosecute the alleged offender to the fullest extent of the law. It is imperative to hold those allegedly responsible accountable for their actions to prevent future instances of animal abuse. By taking decisive legal action, you can help ensure justice for this innocent animal and reinforce the message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated in our community.

Sincerely,

  2. I would gladly serve justice and it would not be pretty.

  3. “Witnesses have stated that this was not an isolated incident.” but they stood by and did nothing the first, second, third ….time?

  4. I read this dog was released to the girlfriend???!!! She LIVES with her PSYCHO ABUSIVE BOYFRIEND!!! Releasing that dog to the girlfriend just puts that dog in MORE danger!!! WTF

    • Agree with you. It is ridiculous to return the dog to the girlfriend. The dog will be in great danger and that piece of shit will kill him. WTF are they thinking? That guy should be hung and brutally beaten the same way he did to that poor dog.

Was this dog actually released back to the girlfriend? If so, what the hell is wrong with authorities. First, the fact that the girlfriend stayed with this abuser, which is what appears to have happened, is insane. is just a matter of time before the psycho boyfriend abuses or even kills this dog. Please remove this animal immediately and put the abuser in jail.

  6. Jail for the dumb slut for abetting, as for the waste of oxygen, hang the POS up cut its bits off and leave it to bleed to death. Both are a waste of skin, no loss to society if they arent in it anymore, clean up the genepool a bit

  7. Literally can not wrap my head around the fact that this innocent dog was returned! Something seriously wrong with whomever decided that. The demonic asshole who did this to the dog should be made to endure the same fate he inflicted on the dog….except beat him until he dies!
