Puppies Left for Dead in Grocery Bag Deserve Justice

Target: Stephen Zappala, District Attorney for Allegheny County, PA

Goal: Prosecute individual deemed responsible for deadly abandonment of puppies to fullest extent.

Pennsylvania recently made a notorious list for high puppy mill activity. Recently, a disturbing case involving the endangerment of puppies came out of Wilkinsburg. The tragic story began when a person heard whimpering near their home.

The person contacted authorities, who discovered the heartbreaking source of the pained calls. Several puppies had been enclosed inside a grocery bag. Tragically, four of the young pups had already perished. The survivors were taken to an animal rescue shelter. Investigators believe that the puppies had been thrown from behind an apartment complex and down a hillside. The perpetrator seemingly left these defenseless animals for dead.

Authorities are still searching for the perpetrator or perpetrators of this heinous act. Sign the petition below to demand maximum charges when a suspect is identified.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Zappala,

“They had a very difficult start. We’d love a happy ending.” Many concerned individuals echo the sentiments of Humane Animal Rescue, where employees cared for the suffering, scared puppies following their inhumane abandonment. Four puppies died as a suspected result of being placed in a grocery bag and tossed down a hillside like trash.

Whomever is responsible for this deadly act must be held accountable. When investigators apprehend a suspect, please seek the most severe charges and punishment that reflect the depravity of this cruelty.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
