Dog Reportedly Found Starving and Locked in Urine-Soaked Crate Deserves Justice

Target: Wayne County, Michigan District Attorney Daniel Connors

Goal: Ensure full prosecution of individual reportedly responsible for severely neglecting Buster, leaving him malnourished and confined in a urine-soaked crate.

A four-year-old mini Australian Shepherd named Buster was reportedly found severely malnourished, dehydrated, and confined in a cramped 2×3 foot crate covered in urine. Rescued by state troopers during an unrelated investigation, Buster was said to be in critical condition and initially feared dead due to extreme neglect.

Upon investigation, authorities allegedly discovered that Buster’s owner had failed to provide basic sustenance and proper care, leading to severe neglect and urine burns. The dog was reportedly left in unsanitary conditions, confined in a tiny space without adequate food or water, causing immense suffering.

Such severe neglect is unacceptable and demands immediate legal action to prevent future instances of animal cruelty. Ensuring that the individual reportedly responsible is fully prosecuted will send a strong message that such mistreatment will not be tolerated. Demand that the authorities pursue this case to the fullest extent of the law to secure justice for Buster and protect other animals from harm.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Daniel Connors,

I am writing to express deep concern over the reported case of severe animal neglect involving a dog named Buster. He was reportedly found severely malnourished, dehydrated, and confined in a cramped 2×3 foot crate covered in urine, leading to critical health conditions and initial fears for his life.

Authorities have charged the owner with two counts of animal abuse for allegedly torturing or injuring animals and failing to provide sustenance. The distressing circumstances under which Buster was allegedly found highlight a serious violation of animal welfare laws and a profound disregard for the well-being of this innocent animal.

We urge your office to ensure that this case is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Taking decisive legal action will demonstrate a commitment to justice, deter future acts of animal cruelty, and help protect vulnerable animals in our community. Please act to ensure that justice is served for Buster and to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

    • I think the article had a typo- he was released on Oct 5th, not the 15th.

    • Thank you for naming this bastard and providing his address – this should happen more often. When is this piece of crap going to jail?

    • Now this bastards name and address is out, it would be really nice if he could be paid a visit by ‘fired – up’ Animal activists to show the mother the serious error of his ways. I won’t bother going on too much here as I know what everyone wants to happen to this dog torturing piece of shit!! No one would miss this bugger, not even his is own family, as I expect he is just as much a ‘Bastard’ in his own home!! When proven guilty the law should drag them out and BANG BANG your dead!! But will never happen with their useless Mamby- Pamby slap on wristy actions!!
Power to any group who can deal with this piece of shit accordingly!!
      J,W.

  2. I hope you show the same mercy to him that he showed to this little dog, which is none! Too many people get away with this kind of abuse because of care less prosecutors and judges. This low life jerk deserves the maximum punishment and nothing less!

  3. Punishment is way too lenient for these savage animal abusers. Punishment must fit the crime, lock him in a small jail cell to rot.

  4. Unfortunately LAWS do not meet JUSTICE on suffering of animals. This POOR DOG will remember if it’s still living. If not it suffered a painful DEATH. TOO MANY SUFFER A HORRIBLE DEATH AS LAWS DO NOT MEET THE JUSTICE OF THE SUFFERING OR DEATH OF THESES HELPLESS ANIMALS. UNTIL TRUE JUSTICE PUT THE FEAR IN THOSE WHO CARE LITTLE FOR LIFE AND SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IT WILL CONTINUE. PUT THE FEAR OF GOD IN THOSE WHO ABUSE THE HELPLESS. THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL IT END. ONE DAY THE SUFFERING AND CAUSE OF DEATH OF A HELPLESS ANIMAL WILL BE GIVEN THE JUSTICE IT DESERVE.

  5. Carolyn Ecton says:

Wayne County, Michigan District Attorney Daniel Connors; are you ready to set an example that such animal abuse is not acceptable in Michigan?

  6. The only way animal abusers will stop is if the same thing is done to them. Find the smallest cage this POS can fit into and put it in there without food and water. No loss if it dies.

  7. Jalene Kern says:

I’m all for punishment being what animal abusers do to the animals! Makes me sick reading these stories!

  8. What happened to Buster? Please provide update on him.

  9. until the laws change this POS will get a mere slap on the hand.

  10. Mary Moritz says:

I too would like to know what happened to Buster.

    • I would like to hear how Buster is. Please sentence this man harshly. Laws need to be upgraded to reflect the severity of animal cruelty and provide lengthy prison termsa.

  11. Call Animal Control if you can’t afford or don’t want the responsibility but don’t deprive, mutilate or mistreat to death an innocent life. How can these fiends look at themselves in the mirror knowing their evil acts? Every day another tragic abuse case and hope that this creep suffers the maximum and that poor Buster fully recovers from this terrible trauma.

  12. Someone should go see Michael S. McWilliams, 39, of Canal Street in Lyons. when it’s real quiet. Really quiet……

  13. We know Dunce, Michael McWilliams cannot look after a dog!!
Someone should pay him a visit and ask him why and make him live in that Urine kennel for punishment!

  14. Cathy McCormick says:

Animal abuse is never acceptable and must always be prosecuted to the fullest! This POS needs to be given the maximum sentence behind bars!

  15. Maria Lavorato says:

Wayne County, Michigan District Attorney Daniel Connors and Judge

Are you going to make sure that punishment fits the crime! Sweet little Buster suffered extreme anguish and trauma! Who knows if he will ever recover. It is time to make McWilliams pay accordingly. Send a clear message to other would be animal abusers!!!!! Further he should never again be able to have a animal!

I think the right justice is that all animal abusers get exactly the same torture they had their victims endured. SHOW NO MERCY.

  16. Can Buster be adopted? We’d love to take him in and give him the type of home he deserves!

  17. The article forgot to list the name of this POS ex owner. The ex POS needs to be locked in a trunk for a month!

  18. Manitou CalmStorm says:

People are the worst creatures on this planet! May God forgive my resent.

  19. UncommonSensesc says:

Someone knows this Michael McWilliams. Until true justice is delivered, abuse like this will keep happening! Take the SOB to the woods, one shot in the head and leave him for buzzard food! Now there’s a deterrent to other animal abusers!

    • UncommonSensesc, you make a lot of sense to me. That is the only real deterrent that will stop a piece of shit animal abuser. One shot to the head and the buzzards will take it from there. And this bastard will never hurt another wonderful dog.
      You and I think alike.
      Take care,
      Johnny K.

  20. No animal deserves to be a victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS! Torturing animals has a brutalizing effect on our society and mankind as a whole. This satanic pathological monster must be severely punished, MAX JAIL or DEATH PENALTY!
He must also be forbidden from coming near/owning animals ever again. All animals in his care must be taken away from him.
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!
