Seek Justice for Six Dogs Reportedly Starved to Death and Left in Basement

Target: Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido, Michigan

Goal: Ensure full prosecution of individuals reportedly responsible for starving six dogs to death and abandoning them in a basement.

In a deeply disturbing case, five American Bully puppies and an adult dog were reportedly found dead in a basement, appearing to have been starved to death. The dogs’ bodies were allegedly left decomposing, strewn across the basement in makeshift pens, shocking the property manager and cleaning crew who discovered them.

The home was reportedly covered in feces, indicating prolonged neglect and unsanitary living conditions. Three other animals—a surviving adult dog, a kitten, and a puppy requiring life-saving surgery—were also reportedly found in the residence, highlighting the extent of the alleged neglect.

Such severe mistreatment of animals is unacceptable and demands immediate legal action. To prevent future instances of such cruelty, it is imperative that those reportedly responsible are fully prosecuted. Demand that authorities pursue this case to the fullest extent of the law to ensure justice for these innocent animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido,

I am writing to express deep concern over the reported case of severe animal cruelty involving six dogs found dead in a basement, appearing to have been starved to death. The distressing details suggest prolonged neglect and intentional harm, as the dogs were reportedly left decomposing in makeshift pens within a home covered in feces.

Furthermore, three surviving animals—a dog, a kitten, and a puppy requiring life-saving surgery—were reportedly found in the residence, underscoring the severity of the alleged neglect. Such actions not only violate animal welfare laws but also reflect a profound disregard for life and well-being.

I urge your office to thoroughly investigate this matter and to fully prosecute the individuals reportedly responsible for this heinous act. Taking decisive legal action will demonstrate a commitment to justice and help prevent future incidents of animal cruelty. Please ensure that those responsible are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
