Demand Justice for Dog Reportedly Shot and Killed by Caretaker

Target: Snyder County District Attorney Michael Piecuch, Pennsylvania

Goal: Ensure full prosecution of the individual reportedly responsible for shooting and killing his daughter’s dog after making threats, to prevent future animal cruelty.

A man reportedly shot and killed his daughter’s dog while she was on vacation, after allegedly threatening to kill the animal and sending a photo of himself holding a knife toward it. The dog, named Gunner, was found dead in the woods near the victim’s home, appearing to have been killed by a gunshot. This disturbing incident highlights a suspected case of animal cruelty and raises concerns about the safety of both animals and individuals.

Before the dog’s death, the man reportedly called his daughter claiming that Gunner had bitten him and one of their puppies, and allegedly made verbal threats to kill the dog. Surveillance footage allegedly shows the man holding a handgun and pointing it in the direction of the dog before a muzzle flash is seen. Text messages reportedly reveal further threats, including an allusion to shooting one of the victims.

Such alarming behavior not only demonstrates a disregard for animal life but also poses a potential threat to human safety. It is imperative that authorities take decisive legal action to prevent future incidents of this nature. Demand that the individual reportedly responsible be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to ensure justice for Gunner and to deter future acts of cruelty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Michael Piecuch,

We are deeply concerned about the reported case of animal cruelty involving the shooting death of a dog named Gunner. The dog’s caretaker allegedly threatened to kill the animal, sent a photo of himself holding a knife toward it, and ultimately shot the dog while his daughter was away on vacation.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows the individual holding a handgun and pointing it in the direction of the dog before a muzzle flash is seen. Text messages allegedly reveal threats not only toward the dog but also an allusion to harming one of the victims. This pattern of behavior raises serious concerns about the safety of both animals and people.

We urge your office to thoroughly investigate this matter and to prosecute the individual reportedly responsible to the fullest extent of the law. Taking strong legal action will demonstrate a commitment to justice, help prevent future incidents of animal cruelty, and ensure the safety of the community. Please ensure that justice is served for Gunner and for all who have been affected by this tragic incident.

Sincerely,

  1. NEED TO NAME NAMES: the POS murderer is Steven Redd, 54, of Selinsgrove, PA, and is facing numerous charges in connection with the incident, including aggravated cruelty to animals, possession of a weapon and cruelty to animals. This guy is a complete psycho, not only killing an innocent dog, but threatening his own daughter, and he needs to be shot himself.
