Stop Torturing, Mutilating, and Killing Animals for Sacrifices

Target: New York State Attorney General Letitia James

Goal: Address surge in horrific animal sacrifice cases.

In a troubling development, the area surrounding Jamaica Bay in Queens, New York, has seen a surge in animal sacrifices, with numerous cases of tortured, mutilated, and killed animals being discovered in local parklands. At least nine wounded animals or carcasses were found over the span of just over a month, including live pigs with partially severed ears, a near-dead baby rat, decapitated chickens, and a dead dog. These gruesome acts have raised serious concerns about animal cruelty and abuse in the area, as the incidents appear to be linked to certain religious practices.

According to local rescuers and religious leaders, the acts may involve a sect of Hindu devotees who worship the goddess Kali, though the practice of animal sacrifice is a twisted interpretation of their scriptures. Local leaders and animal advocates, including John Di Leonardo of Humane Long Island, have expressed alarm over the growing number of reported incidents. Reports suggest that animal sacrifices in the Jamaica Bay area, which were previously a major concern in 2008, are now resurging with full force.

Under New York State law, aggravated cruelty to animals is a felony punishable by up to two years in prison, and although religious animal sacrifice is protected under the US Constitution, there is a growing demand to address these cruel practices and enforce existing laws more rigorously. End these disturbing practices, which have reached a high point this year.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Letitia James,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the alarming increase in animal sacrifices and cruelty in Jamaica Bay and the surrounding areas of Queens, New York. Over the past month, multiple cases of tortured, mutilated, and dead animals have been discovered, raising serious concerns about animal welfare in the community.

While we respect religious freedoms, no animal should be subjected to abuse or cruel treatment. New York State law classifies aggravated cruelty to animals as a felony, and it is imperative that these laws be enforced rigorously to protect innocent animals from further harm. Furthermore, community outreach and education can help prevent the misuse of religious practices and ensure that animal rights are respected.

I urge you to take immediate action by working with local authorities to address this surge in animal cruelty and enforce stronger protections for animals. By doing so, we can prevent further harm to animals and ensure that humane and lawful standards are upheld in our community.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Atrocious and sickening. All those involved must be charged and sentenced to the fullest extent of the law for such heinous acts towards innocent, voiceless beings! The suffering they experienced is unimaginable!

  2. Fucking animal sacrifices! This should not be allowed anywhere! I don’t care about low-life religious beliefs! Sacrifice yourselves mother fuckers!!!!!!

  3. Doubt if anything will be done, seeing who the AG is.

  4. The horrible killings this past month are attributed to Hindu’s celebrating Kali? You are actually slapping her in the face! How dare you kill in adoration to any God or Goddess. When you hurt other living beings as yourself, you spit on your Gods!
Death hurts. You who kill need to know what that feels like. The law is broken and the lawyers and officials are doing nothing. But, if we cold pass a law saying what you do to others will be done exactly the same to you, I know these killings and murders would stop. People are getting tired of paying to medically help any abused animals. We want you dead and want to see you suffer because of what you have done. It’s not a celebration of your Gods but a mutilation of your Gods! Also you live in America now, not Jamaica. Animal abuse is against the law. I vote for the death penalty as punishment against animal abuse.

  5. Lesley Rodgers says:

The death penalty is justified for animal murder, same as for human murder. There should only be one penalty for unprovoked murder and animals who are killed are generally totally helpless and innocent beings. This Hindu and other religeous scum must be stopped and prosecuted. I agree that they should have the same thing done to them as they did to their victims.

  6. Hmm, having a lot of trouble wrapping my head around how one worships any god by the murder and desecration of his creations, seems like a pretty fast way to piss god off tbh, like you are throwing his creations in his face! Also ive always been baffled by the whole ” i want something from god so im going to kill sone of his creations and then he will give me what i want” thing; like “ok, and what exactly are YOU giving, yourself? Its not YOUR blood spilt, or YOUR suffering, or YOUR life given is it? No, youve give the square root of sweet FA so why would you get jack?? All youve done is murder something, which makes you an evil souless monster’. “Close to god” dont make me laugh! Now we know who fills up hell, hope these nasty murdering abusers like it hot

  7. Those who sacrificed these innocent animals should be sacrificed themselves….slowly and hideously painfully.

  8. these people need to be shot. they are turning our country into a 3rd world country or worse.
