Dog Reportedly Dragged to Death Behind Motorcycle Deserves Justice

Target: Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, India

Goal: Ensure consequences for man who allegedly dragged a dog to death.

A horrifying case of alleged animal cruelty has surfaced in India’s Goa, where Ashok Panhalkar has been arrested for allegedly dragging a dog behind his two-wheeler for several kilometers, leading to the animal’s death. The incident came to light after a video of the reported act went viral on social media, prompting public outrage and a police investigation. After allegedly killing the dog, Panhalkar reportedly dumped the animal’s carcass on the roadside.

This suspected act of cruelty highlights the urgent need for justice under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The suffering endured by the dog in its final moments is both heartbreaking and inexcusable, and it is essential that the Director General of Police, Goa, ensures a thorough investigation and strong legal action against Panhalkar. Prosecute this case to the fullest extent of the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear CM Sawant,

I am writing to express my deep concern and outrage regarding the recent case of apparent animal cruelty involving Ashok Panhalkar, who has been arrested for allegedly dragging a dog behind his motorcycle for several kilometers, resulting in the dog’s death. The reported incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media, causing widespread public distress.

This act is a suspected violation of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and should be met with the strictest legal consequences. The suffering endured by the dog is deeply disturbing, and it is imperative that justice is served in this case to ensure that such acts are not repeated.

I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation and pursue the maximum penalties against Ashok Panhalkar under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. By taking strong legal action, you will send a clear message that animal cruelty is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our society.

Sincerely,

  1. Animal cruelty is everywhere but, OMG, India. It is the one reason I will never visit.

  2. Kill this Motherfucker and the person videoing and the people watching!!! Noone did nothing to stop him!!! So there all GUILTY of this one of this heinous abuse!!! Poor innocent animal!!! Kill them all!!! RIP PUPPY YOU DIDN’T DESERVE THIS!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    • Mike – my feelings every time I read about someone actually videoing the murder of an animal: as guilty as the murderer. And those voyeurs who stand around and watch the depravity and make no effort to protect the animal are equally culpable. All animals are innocent beings; the only guilty parties in any of these ghastly situations are the so-called humans who are not fit to breathe the same air as these beautiful animals.
RIP dear doggo [the pup deserves to be named please]: you’ve crossed the rainbow bridge to the peace not extended you by that bike-rider.

    • Agree cannot believe no one stopped him I really hope he suffers a similar fate

      • Claudia Ferguson says:

        Agreed!

      • No one would bother because It’s India and no one would give a toss. Just some ‘ high spirited’ guy having a bit of fun!! Stupid caring idiots!! What this prick needed was to be dragged of his bike, his face kicked In and his bollocks ‘stamped on’ until they ‘popped’.
And only then would the bastard probably realise he was doing wrong! But no— this fucker knew exactly WHAT HE WAS DOING so needs to suffer the consequences.
And all of these buggers who watched and did NOTHING are just as bad as the bloody ‘perp’.
        J.W.

    • Cecily Colloby says:

I so agree. Mike.Who was the bastard filming this and why didn’t they intervene?Loads of people would have watched and done nothing.Says a lot about India …

    • While I absolutely agree they needed to stop him, the video is extremely important to prosecute them. If this stuff isn’t videoed then they don’t get punished as harshly. Also if it’s put on social media it helps them get in even more trouble. So while it is horrible they record it, it’s also a good thing they record it. But they still should stop it also.

  3. I would like to find this piece of shit and dangle him over the highest building and have him hang there for days and just let him drop to his fucking death!!!!!! THIS IS DISGUSTING, CRUEL AND PURE EVIL!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DO SCUM BAGS STILL KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH ANIMAL CRUELTY!!!!! FIND THIS PIECE OF USELESS ,EVIL SCUM AND MAKE SURE HE PAYS FOR THIS. WHAT A HORRIBLE WORLD WE LIVE IN

  4. Highest punishment in order for this monster. Justice needs to be served.

  5. Cyndi Faulkner says:

There is something wrong with many of the male citizens of India. They think nothing of gang rapes, beatings, bestiality, animal abuse and torture. Until the government cracks down on these sick individuals, the crimes will continue. If we want to do something, stop visiting India. Maybe the loss of their tourism revenue will finally be enough for the government to start enforcing rules with severe punishment.

  6. If only we could do to humans what they do to animals.

  7. I always thought India was a gentle country full of peace, guess I was dead wrong!!! I hope with all my being that this POS suffers until death!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. FUCK INDIA! That goddam country should burn in hell!!!!!

  9. Tie this motherfucker to a motorcycle and drag his ass behind it til he dies ! An eye for a fucking eye! I’m so tired of seeing this shit

  10. Is there hope for India? The man doing this to a dog needs to be put on a chain, positioned behind a scooter, and dragged for miles until he is DEAD!
No mercy for him and I hope Karma will balance his misdeeds.

  11. Vanessa Strougo says:

Piece of Shit should have his head almost severed off still alive and then dragged behind his disgusting motor bike until his head rolls off

  12. God Sees All, We need laws that fit the crime and serve as a deterent. 100% prosecution law enforcement, public participation against world neglect and abuse of animals. If not this will continue as it has been. Another horrific crime when will the people in power stop this horrific things that keep happening, it can be stop to less than 1% if they do thier job God Sees All🙏🏼

  13. This guy should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and never allowed near an animal, or allowed to use the Internet, ever again!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH SOME PEOPLE????????!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Joan Rosenfeld says:

Throw this pos in jail forever. He shouldn’t be able to live. Or do the same thing to him until he dies.

  18. How in the world do these sub-par humans even sleep at night after doing this?! I just can’t even fathom the extreme severity of having no heart or soul to be able to do this and live a normal life. Anyone that can do this stuff is evil incarnate and I wish more could be done too violent people. Judges, prosecutors, etc need to seriously do more.

  19. This is fucking sickening. Who took this photo? Why didn’t this person intervene. What the hell is wrong with people? India, another fucked up country that should be blown off the face of this earth. These people are sick.
