Obviously, not all Indians are like that; the real problem is the lack of legal consequences that allows such cruelty! What I meant to highlight is the issue with the legal system and enforcement in dealing with animal cruelty. It’s alarming that some people might feel or WORSE, know that they will face ABSOLUTELY NO repercussions for their actions. I want to clarify that when I said ‘it speaks volumes about India,’ I was referring specifically to how animal cruelty cases are handled and the lack of effective legal consequences in India. It’s distressing, horrifying, and unacceptable that people have no shame and do this in broad daylight and in PUBLIC! And to see reports of strays being suffocated in trash bags constantly just SHOWS that the laws are NOT being upheld. This highlights systemic issues with enforcement and legal protections in INDIA. And I’m so very happy for the COWS but other animals exist and they NEED better, they DESERVE better by the Indian officials and legal system. It is not enough.
