Justice for Pigeon Allegedly Beaten to Death

Target: Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, John Lee, Hong Kong

Goal: Ensure a strong punishment for the man accused of killing a pigeon with a cane.

A deeply troubling incident occurred in Wah Kwai Estate, Aberdeen, where a 93-year-old man, surnamed Ng, was arrested for allegedly cruelly killing a pigeon using his cane. This alleged incident, witnessed by a concerned citizen who reported it to the police, has sparked outrage among animal rights activists and the general public.

Reportedly, the “Hong Kong Pigeon and Dove Rescue” group also became involved, providing critical video evidence from a citizen’s dashcam to the authorities. Following an investigation, the elderly man was arrested on suspicion of animal abuse and later released on bail. He is expected to report back to the police.

Under Hong Kong’s Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance, cruelty to animals is a serious offense, punishable by up to three years in prison. However, this incident highlights the need for strict enforcement and public awareness to prevent such acts of cruelty. Take this case seriously and ensure that justice is served to deter future incidents of animal abuse.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chief Executive John Lee,

I am writing to express my deep concern about the recent case of alleged animal cruelty in Wah Kwai Estate, Aberdeen, where a 93-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing a pigeon in a brutal manner. This alleged incident, captured on video and witnessed by a concerned citizen, is deeply troubling and highlights the need for strict enforcement of animal protection laws in Hong Kong.

Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance, cruelty to animals is a serious offense, punishable by up to three years in prison. Such laws must be enforced rigorously to prevent further acts of cruelty and to send a clear message that animal abuse will not be tolerated.

I urge you to ensure that this case is thoroughly investigated and that appropriate legal action is taken. Additionally, I encourage you to support initiatives that raise public awareness about the importance of treating animals with compassion and respect.

Sincerely,

  1. Stop the violent cruelty against innocent animals who are just trying to survive! Please send a strong message animal abuse will never to be tolerated in any society its wrong on every level!

  2. Oh id love to show this old crock where he can keep his damn cane. Needs to keep his stinking hands to himself

  3. Brutal! An old guy beating a region to death within cane. Imagine being that old and having serious anger issues. He may have been picked on in recent years and decided to take out his anger on this pigeon. Who knows? Animals laws must be protected and enforced. This man must have known he might have to face time in prison. That is the law of the land. Proceed. It’ not an easy decision but the man at 93 isn’t facing charges to hold him in prison for a decade. He will get out and live on, even at his ripe old age. People are mean to animals everyday but that isn’t correct. In order to accomplish a peaceful society there are rules of law which must be followed. Our entire society of peace and respect is built on this idea.

  4. this prick lived until 93 years of age and does this kind of stuff. imagine him when he was younger. hopefully he won’t see 94

  5. Take his cane off of him, keep him housebound. Nasty old coot.

  6. They say the good die young. It certainly applies in his case considering he lives way beyond the years of many. Shame on him that he is not leaving the world a better place, one of kindness, appreciation, compassion, tolerance and love.

  7. He’s most likely tortured many Animals to death in his lifetime, evil old fuck head! Hope someone beats the old piece of trash to death with it’s cane.
