Stray Dog Shot Dead and Hastily Buried Deserves Justice

Target: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Sikkim, India

Goal: Protect stray animals from cruelty and ensure justice for stray dog shot in the chest.

A 3-4-year-old stray dog was found shot on Kahi Road in India’s Sikkim, its body hastily buried until an anonymous tip led to its exhumation. A medical examination confirmed the dog had been shot in the chest. This incident, which animal rights activists brought to light, has ignited public outrage and demands for stronger legal protections for stray animals in Sikkim.

Animal activist Sagar Singh and Rebina Rai from People For Animals (PFA) Sikkim have played a crucial role in highlighting this case, despite initial local reluctance. A rally is being organized to condemn this act and raise awareness about the broader issue of animal abuse.

This tragic event underscores the urgent need for comprehensive legislation to protect stray animals from brutality. Create a safer and more compassionate environment for all animals in Sikkim.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear CM Tamang,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent tragic incident involving the shooting of a stray dog on Kahi Road. This situation has rightfully sparked outrage and calls for stronger animal protection laws in Sikkim. The 3-4-year-old dog was shot and hastily buried, only to be exhumed after an anonymous tip, revealing the severe cruelty inflicted upon it.

This case, brought to light by animal rights activists, highlights the need for immediate and comprehensive action to protect stray animals from such inhumane treatment. The community is uniting to condemn this act and demand justice for the innocent life lost.

I urge you to enact stricter legislation to safeguard stray animals and ensure that those who commit such acts of cruelty are held accountable. It is imperative that we create a legal framework that protects animals and reflects the values of compassion and justice.

Sincerely,

Yes, animals in India and other Eastern countries often fare very poorly. Yet, here in the U.S., we are not exactly shining examples for the world when it comes to protecting animal abusers. We let animal abusers off with a slap on the hand instead of executing the bastards! So let’s clean up our own yard first before we damn other countries.

They just killed the dog and buried it? In most of poo arts of Asia and Africa they eat dogs and cats – I thought the people in India did too??!!
Why don’t the police find whomever did this and bury them too?? Isn’t life expendable in India?

  2. Monstrous monstrous evil, heartbreaking and horrific, karma is theirs – I feel you, poor lost innocent souls; their blood on your souls

The abuse, torture & murder of the innocents

Some heartbreaks can never be unseen, some horrors never unheard – PLEASE GOD

And the universe weeps tears of blood

Your life as theirs, as their death

Someone knows who the perpetrator is. investigate this until you find this evil and charge him/her with Felony First Degree or more sweet strays are at risk!

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Sikkim, India PLEASE HOLD THOSE RESPONSIBLE ACCOUNTABLE. This sweet little dog was already suffering from life on the street. THIS WAS PURE EVIL THAT MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO UNPUNISHED!…THIS PUP WAS HURTING NO ONE.

Animal activist Sagar Singh and Rebina Rai from People For Animals (PFA) Sikkim have played a crucial role in highlighting this case …PLEASE DON’T LET THE EFFORTS OF THESE COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE BE FOR NOTHING!! YOU MUST FOLLOW UP WITH STRICT LEGISLATION IN PLACE TO PROTECT ALL YOUR VULNERABLE ANIMALS AND TAKE THE PERPS OFF THE STREETS SO THAT A CLEAR MESSAGE IS SENT EACH AND EVERY TIME!!!

  5. What in the heck is wrong with some people?!?! This incidence makes me physically ill. This poor dog certainly didn’t needed to be killed by a callous, unfeeling idiot.

How does your country live with yourselves!! Might look up the meaning of compassion!!

    • Joyce O'Malley says:

India is a shit hole for animals – no compassion whatsoever!! The police need to Find whomever did this and bury them too!! Never travel to India!!

      • I reckon that India is a ‘shit hole’ full stop.
But animal torture and murder is happening the world over and always has been.
And unless there is an ‘actual’ people revolt everywhere it will obviously continue.
The governing bodies will never bring back the ‘death penalty’ so it really IS up to normal living people to put a stop to it!! Anything is possible if one can put ones mind to it!! I’ll say no more except — YES — it can be done. These bastards CAN be taken out with planning and a modicum of care. 😉😉

Death penalty for all animal abusers…then let them rot in hell !!

  11. Abusing animals is happening daily in many parts of the world. These people are all sick and evil. They should be called pervert and coward. They choose to abuse animals because they are voiceless and cannot fight. Theses cowards need to be abused/killed like how they abused/ killed the animals.

  12. Susan Silva says:

PROSECUTE THIS SICK AND EVIL MONSTER AND LOCK THEM UP!!! THIS POOR INNOCENT HELPLESS PUP DESERVES JUSTICE!!!’ THIS MURDERER NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND LOCKED UP OR THEY WILL NOT STOP!!!!

  13. Are gun ownership laws in Sikkim regulated?
If the dog was a stray the person who murdered him/her was carrying a weapon with intent surely.
A witness? Someone saw or knew of the “burial”?
One hopes then that the perpetrator is found soon before another innocent life is snuffed out.

  14. Stephanie Geyser says:

What else can we expect from a corrupt and rubbish country like India? The matter will NEVER get to a magistrate or judge. And IF it does, it will be dismissed because the perpetrator will simply bribe his way out of trouble. Corrupt and rubbish country.
