There is no excuse for this and absolutely no reason. Thompson seems to be the only one responsible for the animals thus the is he is the focus of this cruel action. This cruel action lasted days and weeks. It is horrible death. I only wish he could feel the pain and suffer as much as the animals he killed by neglect! The law is not strong enough nor enforceable enough to stop this type of situation from occurring. No one need have animals if they treat them this way. A life long ban must be placed on this man so he can never own, work with or be around any animals again. Either that or placed in a mental institution. He can not be out in society based on laws to help us all live in peace. Society doesn’t need him to be a burden until the next time he hurts a child or another animal. He will, if you let him walk away free. He needs no animals to hurt, no child to hurt, and no chance to be in the company of wither.
