Prosecute Man For Allegedly Neglecting Over 75 Animals

Target: Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel

Goal: Ensure Scott Thompson is thoroughly prosecuted and faces the maximum legal consequences for the alleged large-scale animal abuse, if found guilty.

In a significant animal cruelty case, Scott Thompson of Hawks, Michigan, faces charges for allegedly failing to provide adequate care for over 75 animals. The investigation, led by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), reportedly revealed alarming conditions on Thompson’s family property. Authorities discovered 10 deceased animals, including geese, chickens, a horse, and more, reportedly suffering from starvation and dehydration. The DNR also apparently found additional animals in dire conditions, leading to the seizure of geese, sheep, pigs, and other animals for proper care.

Thompson is charged with animal cruelty, failure to provide adequate care, and improper burial of dead animals. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and awaits trial. A second suspect is reportedly being sought in connection with the case.

The gravity of this situation highlights the urgent need for strict enforcement of animal welfare laws and justice for the affected animals. It is crucial to ensure Thompson is held accountable for these alleged acts of cruelty to prevent future incidents. Ensure Scott Thompson faces the maximum legal consequences for the alleged large-scale animal abuse, if found guilty.

  1. America does not care for the abused dogs and other animals. This man is guilty and yet pleads innocence. I feel if this pea is a wrongful statement then the sentence he receives must be doubled. Everyone, most of whom are guilty, scream their innocence. This needs to be changed to save time in the court system. Tell the, truth up front, or get twice the sentence. Someone doing this needs help, mental help. He has received none. Bring in the parents and ask why not. They have some guilt in all this I can’t imagine people knowing something is wrong with their kids and yet let it brew until something like this occurs. Get justice, as that is why we have a legal system at all. Why have a legal system which does not protect the innocent? Why support a legal system to protect the guilty?

  2. A “plea” of “not guilty” simply means (a) this guy is totally out of touch with reality OR (b)is a pathological liar! And lying should NEVER, EVER be tolerated, since that just breeds MORE of the same! (as for parents’ failings, who do you think children first learn this behavior from?) Let’s get rid of the ultra-lying “legal system” at the same time!
