Slaughterhouse workers abuse animals raised for food all the time. Those animals live in deplorable conditions, never get medical treatment, some die before they’re killed etc. A pet has a little bit more rights than a farm animal but they are all sentient beings. I think they don’t do much to punish abusers because if it was done on a farm, it wouldn’t be considered animal abuse because it’s common treatment of those animals people have chosen to eat. Look it up if you don’t believe me but I hope you’re ready for what they reveal. You want to punish the dog abusers? I want to punish all people who eat meat and dairy bc by doing so you are supporting the meat and dairy industry which is responsible for 90% of all abuse to animals.

Point taken. However, I’d also add, those poor dogs were NEVER “once-loved”…not if they were “surrendered” (a deliberately subversive word for DUMPED & ABANDONED) by their chattel-OWNERS, who also didn’t a crap about their fate. THAT’s not what LOVE looks or acts like.

But- very many of these dogs WERE once loved but unfortunately when the elderly owners develop health problems or suchlike, and cannot look after themselves or their pets, they have to be re-housed
in care homes and their treasured pet has no choice other than to be also re-housed in a ‘supposed’ animal shelter! Which – do not always turn out what they are supposed to be.
If, for some reason the animal has to be euthanised, then this MUST be administered correctly. But I imagine that some of the tossers who work there enjoy their freedom being able to abuse their unfortunate inmates who have no choice other than being subjected to this type of abuse and torture!
You will ALWAYS get some bastard who will find a way to ‘get their fix’ ( just like druggies) by subjecting animals to brutality and suffering for their ‘warped minds’.

Ban this man from ever owning, working with, or being around animals for the rest of his sorry life. What a monster. He is guilty as he is seen on video doing the crime. This man really needs to have his face bashed in, kicked, and torn apart in order to feel the pain he caused to an innocent dog.
