Demand Justice for Dog Allegedly Shot and Left to Die

Target: Mr. Ryan Sayers, District Attorney of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania

Goal: Investigate and ensure strict penalties for the individuals allegedly responsible for the abuse and neglect of Duke, and enforce stronger animal welfare regulations.

In Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, two people from Mahaffey are standing trial for the alleged shooting and abandonment of a dog named Duke. Nichole Marie Daisher, 32, and Ricky Allen Daisher, 60, along with a juvenile relative, have been charged with felony conspiracy/aggravated cruelty to animals, misdemeanor cruelty to animals, and other charges. The incident came to light when Heather Hoover from Animals Matter of Clearfield County reportedly found Duke in a dire state, leading to a series of veterinary treatments that saved his life. The investigation revealed a disturbing chain of events, including alleged shooting and abandonment. Duke has since been placed in a foster home and is recovering well.

This case underscores the urgent need for strict enforcement of animal welfare laws to prevent such extreme neglect and ensure justice for the animals involved. Take stringent measures to hold individuals accountable for alleged animal cruelty and ensure the well-being of all animals in our community.

The torture and/or murder of helpless, innocent animals is the work of evil and evil’s name is Satan. Satan belongs in hell. Send Satan and his disciples straight to hell. Humans will thank you and God will bless you.

  2. Duke is recovering.I am glad that. Will he ever be totally recovered? I doubt it. These people are standing trial now.
I hope they will receive the same treatment they gave. From the shooting and leaving Duke to suffer., shoot each of them and leave them to suffer. I hope they are hurting like having a iron hot poker sticking in them and having no one care. These slime should be given exactly what they gave. I promise they won’t do it again. Why people see4k the innocent to do the most vicious things to and then cry when they are told they will suffer the same as they gave! That’s justice!

  3. Death penalty for these bastards, cowards,POS, burn in hell.
    Justice for Duke!

  4. Now that these wicked bastards Nichole Marie Daisher, Ricky Allen Daisher and a juvenile (a danger to the community/society in future) are arrested, please do your utmost best to punish them with the harshest penalties for extreme animal cruelty/felony/murder, etc., keep them in prison for a long time because they are useless and dangerous to all living beings on earth!

The perpetrators deserve to be shot and left for dead and wait to see if anyone helps them

  6. Part of the penalty for these types of crimes should be restitution for all the medical bills to save the dog and cost of care and feeding of the animal for one year to cover foster care or shelter care. If it means they take their tax refunds, welfare checks, garnish wages, lien their home, whatever it takes to put a financial hurt as well as a legal penalty. I feel the same way for all crimes. Maybe if criminals/abusers got a financial hurt as well as a legal penalty that will help bring home the message that crimes against innocent people/animals will not be tolerated.

    • It won’t happen, sadly. It’s too intelligent and logical for lawmakers to grasp. But you are 100% right.
