40 Apparently Neglected Feral Wolf-Dog Hybrids Severely Abused and Euthanized Deserve Justice

Target: Mr. Jim O’Neill, District Attorney of Forsyth County, North Carolina

Goal: Investigate and ensure strict penalties for individuals allegedly responsible for the neglect and abuse of the wolf-dog hybrids, and enforce stronger animal welfare regulations.

In Forsyth County, North Carolina, a deeply troubling case of alleged animal neglect has come to light. Melvin “Sonny” Berry was arrested and charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty after authorities reportedly found 40 feral wolf-dog hybrids living in deplorable conditions in a Denton trailer home. The dogs were allegedly sick and feral, posing a significant threat to the community and other animals.

Maria Wood, a community resources animal navigator, highlighted the increasing frequency of animal hoarding and abuse cases. She emphasized that owning wolf-dog hybrids is illegal in North Carolina and that their condition could have led to further injuries and danger. This case underscores the urgent need for strict enforcement of animal welfare laws to prevent such situations. Take stringent measures to hold individuals accountable for alleged neglect and ensure the well-being of the wolf-dog hybrids.

  1. These hybrids should not be born. They, unfortunately, are not welcomed. However to treat them in such a miserable manner goes against our social system of justice. Although we have a lame system of justice you must place those responsible in prison. People are tired of a broken system of justice. We everyday people must live under the justice system but it is so broken that people will rise up if your lack of responsibility doesn’t improve. Your lack of interest forces we the people to comply but not those who do the damage. This can not continue. Help these dogs and put those involved in prison for years!

  2. Since it is illegal and these dogs can never be adopted or put into society, why breed them to only mistreat them with cruelty and torture. This is an evil person with no regard for innocent lives. He did this on purpose. He must pay for what he did by prison. The only way justice will be served!

  3. Put the creep away for good

  4. Mechthild says:

I never heard of such a terrible thing. Every day you think you heard it all more evil torture to animals come to the surface !
This idiot needs to be in a mental facility and kept there , prison is to good for him.!

  5. These 40 feral wolf-dog hybrids are not to blame for their tragic fate. It is the duty of PEOPLE to ensure their well-being and also to put in place strict laws to prevent such horrors in the future.
No animal deserves to be the victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!! Crimes committed against defenseless animals are increasingly GROTESQUE because the punishment for animal abuse is not severe enough, and in many cases does not exist. A slap on the wrist is a MOCKERY of animal victims. This satanic pathological monster must be severely punished, MAX JAIL or DEATH PENALTY! He must also be forbidden from coming near animals ever again, and cover all costs resulting from this horrific abuse.

YOU ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCELLENT POST AND SO TOTALLY AGREE I KEEP SAYING EXACUTE ALL AND ANY LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS SICK PHYCOPATHS WHO ARE AND DO ABUSE ANIMALS AND AS FOR NORTH CAROLINA GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER ANIMAL ABUSE IS A FEDERAL FELONY NOT A MISTIMENOR FOLLOW THE LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • I agree

  6. Their idiot keeper needs to be euthanized by lead

  7. Please sentence this abuser to One Year for every loss of life. He doesn’t deserve less. How could he keep 40 wolf dogs without AC knowing what’s going on? Any remaining wolf dogs should be in a sanctuary and the perpetrator should rot in jail.

  8. Samina+Araf says:

I would lock them up and give them exactly the same treatment as they did these animals, then euthanatise them a horrific death! Die screaming you evil scum!!!

  9. The wrong species was euthanized! I’ll never understand why there is no way to help animals forced into being bred. Just euthanized with no thought. That pos monster deserves the same fate. Humans are the worst species on earth!

  10. What is the matter with people like this sick asshole. Throw his sorry disturbed brainless ass in jail with no food or health care for a few weeks and see how he able to survive. Or better yet fatten him up and feed him to the wolves! One wolf/dog is to many let alone so many. I feel for the animals certainly not him!!

  11. RITA VAN EECKENRODE says:

SUCH BEAUTIFUL DOGS ABUSED BY HUMAN MONSTERS AND THEN THEY MUST BE EUTHANIZED? DO THE SAME WITH THOSE MONSTERS-BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT HUMANS ANYMORE. NO MERCY WITH THIS CRAPULE.

    • The only ‘thing’ that should have been euthanised is the bastard perp!
Better still is if he could be beaten to death and left to die painfully.
Not sure if the prick is in prison or what but if so, hopefully can be dealt with by animal loving inmates. Now that would be Justice – YES!!
      J.W.

  12. Who is this UGLY unkempt fucking old man in the pic? The one who did this to these doggies? Fuck you fugly POS!

  13. Julia Edinger says:

THE “ONLY JUSTICE” IS TO GIVE THAT “EVIL BEING” SAME TREATMENT,,,,KARMA!!!!

  14. Poor beautiful animals! What has come of this world?

  15. Maria Lavorato says:

These dogs were euthanized through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN.

Melvin “Sonny” Berry was arrested for misdemeanor??????????ALL THE DOGS HAD TO BE PUT DOWN! HE IS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR DEATHS. IN BY BOOK THAT IS MURDER. WHY 40 ????if the bastard can’t even take care of ONE.
He was likely planning or did use these dogs for monetary gain. With absolutely NO REGARD FOR THEIR WELL BEING! TIME FOR HIM TO PAY BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE NEEDS TO PAY IN THE SAME WAY. HOPE WHATEVER HAPPENS HE ENDS UP DYING IN THE MOST DEPLORABLE WAY…..SOONER THE BETTER.

God’s speed to the Rainbow Bridge little buddies! It will now be your time for joy!

  16. A misdemeanor charge for something that is illegal and vile. This should be a felony charge. Why is this monster getting off so lightly? It’s way past time that local governments carried out their mandates to uphold the laws you have, and if needed strengthen them and make new ones to end this.

  17. Stephanie Geyser says:

Why are hybrid wolf-dogs being bred in the first place?

In fact, it’s a pity that the accused can’t be sentenced to euthanasia (like the feral wolf-dog hybrids were) in order to protect decent humans (and other animals) from him.

  18. Aprille Gilmore says:

This is animal torture. It should bring with it, jail time, a significant monetary penalty and his name on a registry of abusers. Please strengthen the animal cruelty laws and penalties in your state. The South is out of control.

  19. The damn government needs to step up and start making animal cruelty against the law and enforce harsh consequences as a deterrent.
Make the monster endure the same treatment!!!
    That’s justice!

  20. It is hard yo believe that no person knew about this until it was too late. Such a sorry state of life.
