Pennsylvania School Bus carrying animals used for alleged bestiality; driver Shawn Hirschbine arrested
Shawn Hirschbine from West Virginia faces charges of distributing obscene material to children, as reported by Eastern Adams Regional Police.
The accusation was made after Hirschbine allegedly recorded himself engaging in sexual activities with a pony and then proceeded to show the video to minors, according to Adams County SPCA.
Hirschbine was taken into custody in Adams County following a breakdown of a bus he was driving. The bus was transporting numerous animals, including the pony involved in the incident in West Virginia.
Reports from the SPCA indicated that a BULL found in the trailer was also used for “bestiality purposes.”
DNA testing is currently being conducted on the rescued animals from the bus, with results expected in the coming months. If Hirschbine’s DNA does not match the samples, he may not face charges in Pennsylvania.
In a recent update, the SPCA mentioned that three German shepherds from the case had to be euthanized due to physical trauma, aggression, and aversion to touch.
A duck was also put down as it could not walk on one foot, which is essential for its survival. The SPCA emphasized that the decision was made in the best interest of the animals’ safety and the staff’s safety.
Two workers who interacted with the animals have potentially contracted scabies, as confirmed by a Veterinarian from the Humane Society of the United States.
