News flash … it’s hot as hell in Florida. People living in Florida know what hot feels like. Although we all make mistakes, why take a dog out in the car only top park it on a hot lot? It’s insane? Maybe, but usually it’s just stupid. However, stupid kills too. Hot cars in Florida are normal. I don’t know the full story here but just reading this the lady seems too dumb to care for her pet.
If this was a mistake then she should still have to sit in a hot car for the same amount of time as her pet and languish in the heat. She won’t make the same mistake twice!!!!
So what will happen to Melissa Major? Lock her in a hot car for an hour and a half perhaps? She deserves that at least, even though her dog will have suffered even more due to not being able to sweat except through its paw pads, and only being able to pant. This woman will not learn from this and I hope the dog will be taken away from her, there is No excuse for not knowing what would happen – everyone knows this danger and she decided to make her own dog suffer so she could attend a meeting.
Makes me sick to think this idiot didn’t know any better!! I hope she gets locked in a hot trunk and left to die. We won’t miss her.
She was watching and looking after this dog for someone so that dog owner SHOULD NEVER let her near their dog!!
First of all, there must be a complete removal of any penalty whatsoever for anyone smashing windows to save animals under any circumstances. As for this demented excuse for humanity, give it some rocks to break up, way out in the desert, on 12 hour days. Sad little bitch might learn then
