Inside the residence, they reportedly found a mixed-breed female dog cowering in a corner, covered in cuts and lacerations to her snout, head, and neck, with her whiskers burned. This scene painted a horrific picture of the alleged abuse and neglect the dog endured.

Further investigation reportedly revealed that the dog, initially named Dice, was handed over to deputies by a caller who stated the injuries were inflicted by the previous owner. The sheriff’s office believed Brandon Ash, a 41-year-old resident of Beaverton, to be responsible for Dice’s injuries. Consequently, Ash was arrested and charged with animal abuse and neglect. These alleged actions are not just a violation of animal rights but also an indicator of extreme cruelty and disregard for life.
