they made arrangements for their care? that is bullshit. don’t you check to see if they are okay, was there no one around who could hear their cries and scratching trying to escape that death trap. this was a failure at multiple levels but it starts with the 2 dirt bags who owned the dogs. those poor animals suffered greatly and it is a shame that every system failed them starting with the 2 people who they trusted and loved to care for them. if you can’t care for them any longer find them a place to land don’t just discard them like garbage.
