11 Dogs and 2 Cats Apparently Living in Squalor, Malnourished, Dehydrated and Abused Deserve Justice

Target: Melinda Katz, District Attorney of Queens County, New York City

Goal: Ensure severe legal consequences for the alleged animal abuse and theft.

Animals reportedly stolen and abused, found in a Queens residence, spark outrage. Police and the ASPCA reportedly discovered eleven dogs and two cats allegedly living in squalor, malnourished, dehydrated, and abused. This alleged incident raises alarm over the welfare of animals and the severity of pet theft.

Further investigation revealed the alleged presence of controlled substances and stolen goods within the premises, hinting at a broader spectrum of alleged criminal activities by the suspect. The living conditions, described as “filthy,” suggest a grave disregard for the animals’ wellbeing. Victims, including a confirmed stolen German shepherd, were allegedly subjected to neglect, underlined by their underweight status, dehydration, and dirty hair coats.

This alleged case highlights a pressing need for stringent legal actions against those responsible for such alleged atrocities. Enforce the law to its full extent to prevent further suffering.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Melinda Katz,

We urgently bring to your attention a disturbing case of alleged animal abuse and theft in the Edgemere section of the Rockaways. Over a dozen animals were reportedly rescued from abhorrent conditions, leading to the arrest of Cory Elder on multiple charges including animal abuse and possession of stolen property. This alleged incident not only reflects the alarming state of animal welfare in our community but also underscores the necessity for decisive legal action.

The animals, reportedly living in deplorable conditions, were found malnourished, dehydrated, and in a state of neglect. Such alleged neglect, especially in the presence of stolen items and controlled substances, paints a dire picture of the environment in which these innocent beings were forced to exist. It is imperative that our legal system responds with appropriate seriousness to dissuade similar future conduct.

Therefore, we demand that you pursue the strictest possible legal measures against the alleged perpetrator. By holding those accountable to the fullest extent of the law, we can hope to set a precedent that animal abuse and theft will not be tolerated. Our community relies on your commitment to justice to ensure the safety and well-being of all its members, human and animal alike.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
