The Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force has rescued 55 dogs from a property in Stone County, Missouri. The dogs were reportedly found living in freezing conditions without food, water, or shelter, among the remains of 15 dogs and five goats. The property owner was arrested by the Stone County Sheriff’s office, but the investigation is ongoing.
This case is a horrific example of alleged animal cruelty and neglect. The dogs were reportedly forced to endure unimaginable suffering, and many of them died as a result. Those responsible for this alleged abuse must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

For two weeks PETA has been asking folks to call the sheriff in a county in Missouri to get four dogs out of a horrible situation where they are likely to freeze to death. I have called twice. There is supposedly an “ongoing investigation” taking place. Well the poor dogs will be dead by the time that’s done, and it’s a farce anyway. The sheriff supposedly also said the dogs would have to freeze to death before he would deem their shelter insufficient! There are pictures! They are basically out in the open! Ugh! I just want to scream!!!!!!

Laws need to state how many animals and which species may live in one place in hopes of stopping some of this deliberate abuse. People may do this for spite. Yet they wouldn’t want this done to anyone they love. If they had to tolerate a day or a week of the same kindness, or lack of same, as they gave I am certain they wouldn’t do this again and it might influence the whole sick population who finds cruelty fun thing to do. To be naked, forced to live without food or water in freezing temperatures for a week may educated these stupid fools.
