Dogs Reportedly Found Freezing Without Food, Water, or Shelter Deserve Justice

Target: Wes Weber, District Attorney for Stone County, Missouri, US

Goal: Hold responsible those accused of abuse and neglect of over 50 animals.

The Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force has rescued 55 dogs from a property in Stone County, Missouri. The dogs were reportedly found living in freezing conditions without food, water, or shelter, among the remains of 15 dogs and five goats. The property owner was arrested by the Stone County Sheriff’s office, but the investigation is ongoing.

This case is a horrific example of alleged animal cruelty and neglect. The dogs were reportedly forced to endure unimaginable suffering, and many of them died as a result. Those responsible for this alleged abuse must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

The dogs rescued from the property were in terrible condition, as per reports. They were severely malnourished and dehydrated, and many of them reportedly had matted fur and skin infections. Some of the dogs were reportedly chained or tied to trees, while others were reportedly living in an outdoor pen with no access to shelter. The remains of deceased animals were reportedly found on the property, and it is unclear whether they died of starvation or froze to death.

The property owner allegedly failed to provide the dogs with the basic necessities of life, such as food, water, and shelter. As a result, the dogs suffered greatly, and many of them died.

Urge District Attorney Weber to conduct a thorough investigation into this case and to bring charges against the property owner. Ask the courts to impose the maximum penalty allowed by law. These animals were treated with unimaginable cruelty, and they deserve justice.

  1. Make these CRUEL & ABUSIVE IDIOTS LIVE AS ALL THESE INNOCENT DOGS WERE MADE TO LIVE IN FOR THE REST OF THEIR MISERABLE LIVES!!!!!

  2. This makes me ashamed to say this is my original home state and is very bad on it’s treatment of animals

  3. Aprille Gilmore says:

Please pursue this vigorously and level the maximum penalty possible. Please strengthen the laws and funding in your state to better address the torture of animals – in backyards, on farms, at roadside “petting zoos, animal acts, circuses, rodeos, marine attractions and anywhere animals are displayed, used, abused etc. Please support a total ban on the sale or ownership of ALL exotic animals and help create a national registry so that EVERYONE convicted of abuse can never own an animal again. The US should be leading on these issues, instead, there are regions in the US that are understood to me lawless in this regard. Missouri is one of several states, for example, that is known to tolerate puppy mills and cruelty in general.

  4. THIS IS UNCONSCIONABLE. MISSOURI IS DEFINITELY KNOWN FOR BACKYARD BREEDERS AND PUPPY MILLS. FIND AND PROSECUTE THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW AND HOPEFULLY THESE INNOCENT DOGS WILL FIND A WARM AND LOVING SANCTUARY. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PUBLIC.

    • THE FUCKING BREEDERS NEED TO BE STOPPED!!There will never be a law for that.

    • Patricia Lamonica says:

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU BUT THE SECOND BIGGEST PROBLEM IS IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO DON’T SPAY AND NUTER THIER ANIMALS AND THE FIRST PROBLEM IS THAT JUDGES AND DISTRICT ATTORNEYS DON’T TAKE ANIMAL ABUSE SERIOUSLY OR DON’T UNDERSTAND THAT ONLY LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS SICK PHYCOPATHS CAN AND WILL TORTURE,ABUSE AND KILL ANIMALS AND THEN THEY MOVE TO HUMANS THERE IS NO HELP FOR SICK MINDS THEY NEED TO BE OUT OF SOCIETY!!!!!!!!!!

      • Agree, until there are stricter rules for sterilizing and abuse, this will continue unfortunately. The abusers MUST be severely dealt with otherwise they just repeat this cruelty. Public justice is wht I would like.

  5. This Idiot owner needs to be heavily fined for this stupid screw up! You can’t Fix Stupidity!

  6. When is someone gonna STOP THIS ???? LET’S START DOING THE SAME TREATMENT TO THE SCUMS THAT DO IT AND I BET IT WOULD STOP !!! WHY DOES NO ONE STAND UP AND PUNISH THESE PEOPLE?? THESE INNOCENT ANIMALS DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS!!! IT SUCKS FOR NO ONE TO HELP THESE ANIMALS THAT CAN’T PROTECT THEMSELVES ???

    • Totally agreed!!! I cannot take the pains and heartbreaks anymore ( me 85 age ) ever stop weeping for suffering animals

    • Oh yes, it would stop alright because these torturing bastards are devout ‘cowards’ and would ‘crap’ themselves if they thought they were going to get the same treatment you can bet!!
But this is what has to happen to stop these animal torturing bastards dead in their tracks. And the emphasis is on the word ‘DEAD’ as is the only way these tossers will be stopped permanently.
The main problem is — if anyone ‘did’ have the courage to despatch these Pieces of shit and were caught, I expect we would be classed as murderers by law.
Footnote. If anyone or group feels strongly enough to make these waste of space pricks disappear, just make sure that you have a ‘cunning plan’ for a very ‘quick’ getaway.
And if you can live with ‘No remorse’ afterwards then GOOD ON YOU as these buggers are just pieces of ‘gutter – shite who have no business being alive!!
      J.W.

This son of a bitch’s name is John Griffiths from Galena, MI. 29 dogs were found dead, and the starving live dogs had to fight each other to eat them! No food, no water, no shelter but this evil, very well-fed piece of shit is, unfortunately, still alive. This link shows a picture of the sob in case someone wants to help the justice system out with punishment. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/missouri-man-charged-with-29-counts-of-animal-abuse/ar-BB1h9eTy

    • And this pos will just breed more dogs.ASSHOLES NEED TO STOP BUYING THESE DOGS!!

    • So tired of these despicable POS subhumans getting away with horrible abuse of innocent animals. Until we actually make animal abuse a serious crime nothing will change. In the meantime, eye for an eye justice is an appropriate measure so these wastes of blood and oxygen experience what they inflict. And this shithead looks exactly how I pictured.

    • Tammy Rossetti says:

Thank you so much. There’s no excuse for these websites not plaster these people’s names all over the planet literally. I have posted this news story everywhere and to everyone I know. That’s how you humiliate these wastes of skin!! And also you have to hope people living close enough to these shit skins can take out a little eye for an eye justice on them. There’s always a way.

  8. EYE FOR AN EYE FOR ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS!

  9. Maria Lavorato says:

    Agree with comments.

Wes Weber, District Attorney for Stone County

Please see to it that John Griffith receives the maximum penalty. HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE FOR EVERY TORTURE HE GAVE! He should never be allowed to be near another animal for life.

Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force – please do everything possible to get all the dogs that you rescued happy safe homes. THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL ENOUGH!…they should get a second chance for a happy life! Please fashion yourself like BEST FRIENDS.

So sad for all the little pups that died…..

  10. Lisa G Blanck says:

Missouri is notorious for not give a damn about animals. Home of the puppymills, animals are nothing but ways to make a buck to them.

  11. 75 counts of animal abuse/cruelty at 7 years per will save animals lives in the future. Follow the law and sentence them to life. that is what they took from 20 animals found dead. their prison life should be that of the animals they had in their care

  12. Why does it take so long to find these criminal people before so many dogs are found living in cruel and torturous conditions? These people must be prosecuted and put in prison or they will move on and do this again. He does this abuse because he wants to see animals suffer. Prison and no chance of owing animals for life.

  13. EFFIN PPL, EFFIN LAX PUNISHEMENT, I AM SICK OF THIS CRAP ANYMORE !!!

  14. No animal deserves to be the victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!!! Crimes committed against defenseless animals are increasingly GROTESQUE because the punishment for animal abuse is not severe enough, and in many cases does not exist. A slap on the wrist is a MOCKERY of animal victims. This satanic pathological caregiver must be severely punished, MAX JAIL or DEATH PENALTY! He/she must also be forbidden from coming near animals ever again and cover all veterinary costs resulting from this horrific abuse.
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!

  15. Patricia Lamonica says:

  16. This is John Maxwell Griffiths of Stone County. MI. Was there no friends, family neighbours who felt he was a bit off about something? Did nobody know he had animals? These asswipes will always exist as long as the justice system let’s them off so lightly. It’s time neighbours started looking out for each other, especially the most voiceless among us instead of a lot of these outraged rants that do no good

  17. Those poor animals
Let those disgusting people live outside in the cold. Let them rot out there

  18. The monsters responsible for the abuse and neglect of these and all innocent animals should be locked in a cel with no food, water or heat. The same thing they did to these animals! Damn all abusers-they should tortured- jail is too good for them. The only way this will stop is if people are actually prosecuted/tortured!!! Animals deserve to have rights-abusers do not!!!

  19. Stephanie Geyser says:

The accused (John Maxwell Griffiths) should be tied up and left outdoors in the sub-zero cold, with no food or water. He’s obese enough to live off his fat reserves for months. That’s probably why his dogs were starving – he ate all their food. Disgusting lump of lard.
