Horse Apparently Whipped on Camera During Rodeo Deserves Justice

Target: James W. Glasgow, State’s Attorney of Will County, Illinois

Goal: Thoroughly investigate allegations of rodeo participant whipping his horse in the face.

At the La Herradura de Joliet Rodeo in Will County, a jarring incident unfolded. Christopher Dorado, a horse rider, faced animal abuse allegations stemming from this event.

Videographic evidence unveiled by an animal rights group, Showing Animals Respect and Kindness, captured moments that are now under scrutiny. Within this footage, Dorado apparently struck a horse and whipped its face.

Acknowledgement of these actions came from Dorado, with a subsequent expression of remorse, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office. As legal proceedings loom for Dorado in the coming month, further action has been taken.

A restraining order against the club organizing these rodeos was reportedly filed by the state’s attorney’s office. Acts of alleged cruelty, especially those documented and shared, demand attention, exploration, and consequent action. Fairness, justice, and animal welfare ought to remain pivotal in these pursuits. It’s time to take action.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. James W. Glasgow,

This letter pertains to a recent, unsettling incident involving alleged animal cruelty at the La Herradura de Joliet Rodeo. As the State’s Attorney of Will County, we seek your commitment to ensuring that this matter receives the comprehensive investigation it warrants.

The incident in question revolves around Mr. Christopher Dorado. Captured on video, he reportedly struck a horse and went as far as whipping the animal’s face. While Mr. Dorado has since acknowledged and expressed regret over these actions, it is imperative that due process be followed to its rightful conclusion.

Considering the evidence presented by the animal rights group, Showing Animals Respect and Kindness, and the subsequent action taken by your office against the rodeo-organizing club, it becomes evident that there are broader concerns at play. As representatives of the community, we insist that these allegations be treated with the gravity and thoroughness they deserve.

We urge you to allocate the necessary resources, scrutinize every detail, and ensure that justice prevails in this case. Through this, we hope to reinforce the belief that animal rights and their protection remain paramount in Will County.

Yours sincerely,

The only reason he showed remorse is cuz he got caught!!!

  2. Julie Bates says:

    Animal cruelty…Beastility (sex with animals)
and inhumane behaviour by humans is THE LAST STRAW!!! We meet HARSHER PENALTIES AND REHAB !!! But politicians HAVE NOOOO BALLS TO FOLLOW THROUGH!!!

  3. How right you are, Sherry Mainquist….that’s the only reason these morons ever DO show “remorse” and then the Judge, or whichever idiot it is who hands out sentences, is taken in by this and gives them a lesser sentence….easy!! They fall for it every time!!

  4. Uncommon Sensesc says:

Between the lame prosecutors and does-not-care judges, none of these abusers get the sentence they should! They should let animal lovers be in charge of the sentence – both in setting the sentence and carrying it out! I say that if you have a really just system, it can and will be a deterrent to animal abusers. On something like this, if you tell an abuser he can and will be beat with a Karma bat until either he dies or the batter gets tired, I would say that’s a good deterrent.

  5. certains humains actent comme des brutes et rares sont ceux qui en paient la note. Ils sont ignorés par ceux qui devraient agir en conséquence. Bizarre de monde en ce siècle désordonné et cruel!

  6. Bastards like this one don’t deserve the oxygen they breathe!!! An eye for an eye to the bastard

  7. lock the sicko up

Anyone that abuses animals should be euthanized immediately.

  9. Anyone who thinks this is entertainment should face the same consequences as the abuser.

SADISTIC MONSTER!!! A Sadistic, Demented, Evil Man I AGREE An Eye for an Eye. Whip this Bastard in the Face. NEVER BE ALLOWED ANY ANIMAL EVER!!!!! PURE EVIL!!!

  12. The only time these POS,s show remorse is when they are caught. There is a video, he ‘showed’ remorse. That’s an admission of guilt right? What is left to look at? Lock him up and ban all rodeos forever.

  13. I say the guy should get whipped in front of the camera and see how it feels, now imagine how the horse felt a##hole

  14. I wonder what happens back at the barn/ranch. F8ng moron !!!

  15. Maria Lavorato says:

His remorse is not genuine. He will do it again and has in the past! He should be banned for life!
So I agree with comments. He should be whipped badly especially in the face. Hoping it results in death.
But more than that all these rodeos should be investigated and my wish would be to shut THEM ALL DOWN! This is animal cruelty and everyone attending is GUILTY!! You are all SICK!!

  16. Maria Canada says:

Animal cruelty has to come to an end.

  17. Probably fancies himself a “real man”. Pathetic pos.

  18. Can we please do away with rodeos? They are animal abuse for the purposes of entertainment. As a society we need to do better and get rid of rodeos and circuses!

  19. Kathy Hanigan says:

The same thing needs to be done to him + never be allowed to rride or participate in any rodeo again.

  20. Jacqueline says:

    Hit him in the face!!
All these rodeos, horse racing and other animal events are nothing but animal abuse!!! Forcing horses and bulls to run and terrorizing them is abusive, only fun for sub humans
