Dog Reportedly Starved Until Forced to Ingest Rocks Deserves Justice

Target: Mr. David E Sullivan, District Attorney of Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA

Goal: Prompt, decisive legal action on behalf of a dog allegedly starved until he was forced to eat rocks.

An appalling case of alleged animal cruelty involving Conrad, a 5-year-old pit bull mix, took place in Franklin County, Massachusetts. Conrad was allegedly subjected to unimaginable suffering, including severe malnutrition, untreated broken bones, and the ingestion of rocks, all of which led to his emaciated and perilous condition.

Yarras P. Fletcher and Aliah K. Rivera, both residents of Greenfield, have been charged with two counts each of felony animal cruelty for their actions. These allegations demonstrate a flagrant disregard for the welfare and rights of a defenseless animal under their care.

Greenfield police and the MSPCA’s Law Enforcement Division reportedly worked together to rescue Conrad after concerned witnesses reported his dire circumstances. Upon investigation, it was apparently revealed that the dog had not only endured physical torment but also lived in a state of perpetual neglect.

The cruelty allegedly inflicted upon Conrad is reprehensible and demands a strong response from the legal system. Animal cruelty is a crime that not only harms innocent creatures but also reflects a disturbing lack of empathy and respect for life. Demand action now.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. David E Sullivan,

We, the undersigned, write to you with a sense of urgency and deep concern regarding the distressing case of animal cruelty involving Conrad, the pit bull mix from Franklin County. The horrific circumstances in which Conrad was allegedly found, emaciated with untreated broken bones and rocks in his stomach, are utterly unacceptable.

The charges brought against Yarras P. Fletcher and Aliah K. Rivera for felony animal cruelty must be pursued with the utmost seriousness. Their actions allegedly caused immense suffering and pain to an innocent creature. We urge you to ensure that the legal proceedings are handled swiftly and effectively, allowing justice to prevail.

Cases of animal cruelty are not only violations of the law but also indicative of a potential danger to society. People capable of inflicting such harm on defenseless beings may pose a risk to others as well. By holding these individuals accountable for their actions, we send a clear message that cruelty and neglect of animals will not be tolerated in our society.

We implore you to prioritize this case and ensure that the charges are pursued rigorously, with appropriate penalties if the accused are found guilty. Conrad’s suffering must not be in vain—his case should serve as a reminder that all living beings deserve protection and compassion under the law.

As concerned citizens, we look to you to champion justice on behalf of Conrad and all animals that may fall victim to cruelty. By taking decisive action, you reinforce the principles of empathy, compassion, and the sanctity of life.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

    • I will help I promise we do that to a few of these heartless people make examples out of them it would stop. Death is too good for them.

  8. Poor sweet boy! I hope he finds a loving, deserving home and that his former owner’s are punished to the fullest! Animal cruelty must be stopped and harsher laws are overdue!

Didn’t say the dog lived in the summary. I have my doubts! This in my mind will never stop. These ppl are insane and what kind of ppl are they? Criminals to innocent animals and the laws in all 50 states need to lock them up. All the ppl who take the time to comment are just my kind of ppl. Bless you

    • @ Kelly, Totally agree!! I’ve been saying that for years. Animal abuse has only gotten worse because there are no real consequences. I’m glad the dog was rescued in time. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

This will only end if the Justice system does its job to protect tgese innocent helpless animals by actully putting the abused behind bars for a long long time. Not a slap on the wrist. They should actually get the same treatment they did to this helpless dog that would be true Justice . We are tired of all these POS abusers getting off. Up hold the law on animal cruelty crimes to the max.

    • 100% AGREE !!!

      • Absolutely agree; I’d go even further and recommend that the law imposes swingeing fines on the guilty party/parties to cover the inevitable huge medical bill, nursing, general care, food, toys, blankets and other doggie necessities; a substantial donation to an Animal Welfare charity and a large contribution to the new Mum/Dad in Conrad’s eventual forever home.

There’s nothing too low for a stinking fucking N ! & R ape. Eradicate those dirty animals

  11. Yarras P. Fletcher and Aliah K. Rivera Won’t get the punishment they actually deserve. The laws aren’t sufficient. Domestic Animal abuse, neglect and abandonment should be FELONY across the board, with mandatory jail time, massive fines and banned for life from owning pets. These people are useless trash and frankly, people like this should be euthanized. Not the dogs. The animals can be rehabilitated….these scumbags can’t.

  12. That poor dog! I’m beyond words for what monsters do to animals!! The person who did this needs to pay severely for what what done to that pup! Heartbreaking 💔

  13. Animal abuse/cruelty is a FELONY of fines and imprisonment of 7 years. Make these pieces of shit pay for all the care of this innocent victim pup until adopted into a loving home. Then break their bones and shove rocks down their throats until heavy enough to sink and throw them in a body of water.
    This is beyond reprehensible

  14. Sylvie Mesh says:

Monsters live among us! I hope they get awful punishments. I hope they are shamed! Embarrassed! Disgusting creatures that don’t belong on this planet

  15. Maria Lavorato says:

I pray Conrad is found a loving home after enduring all this sweet boy has been through…

Yarras P. Fletcher and Aliah K. Rivera need to be imprisoned and fed rocks until they die! These are monsters that obviously have no remorse or compassion, so they should be denied freedom. The same fate that they thought was acceptable for Conrad should be more than acceptable for them!!!!!!

The judicial system needs to get Conrad HIS JUStICE!….or infinite sadness continues!

  16. Jane Todaro says:

These people — or whatever they’re supposed to be — should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and never allowed near an animal ever again. WHAT IS THE EXCUSE FOR THIS EXCRUCIATINGLY OUTRAGEOUS, DISGUSTING, SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOR???????!!!!!!!! THERE IS NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. This is a felony level crime. Deliberate, depraved, sadistic intent and action should never with penalties of equal magnitude.. maximum fines, prison, and parole. PLEASE do not minimize sentencing in any way. Thank you!

  18. Frances Leard says:

This insane cruel hateful lunatic must be given the same treatment as he did to this innocent dog. He needs to choke with rocks and let him die a slow death.

What will it take to stop these sick low life crazies from harming innocent animals?

  19. Carolyn Ecton says:

Scum like these two; Yarras P. Fletcher and Aliah K. Rivera, will never stop abusing animals until THEY themselves are made to pay for the medical care needed for their victims. Convicting them means nothing anymore. Perps with worse offenses walk every day. If these two actually do jail time it will be a miracle. But I wholeheartedly wish for jail time, forbid them to ever own an animal again, and PAY for vet care of the animals they torture. People seem to only respond to money — FORCE them into a work program and MAKE THEM PAY!!!

    • They could be made to stop abusing and torturing animal and that is to have a group of animal activists to source them out and ‘smash’ the bastards heads in with a few baseball bats.
Then they would stop their torturing ways because the arrogant fuckers would be DEAD! Or if you were a nice person just smash their hands and kneecaps so the shitbags get the message!
Bold words I know but is the only way these tossers are going to be stopped.
The waste of space justice system cannot be bothered to take action against these arseholes so us normal ‘animal’ people’ are seriously going to deal with these pieces of ‘shite’ and show them that animal abuse and torture really ‘does not pay’ .

  20. Some humans stink and don’t deserve the oxygen they breathe!
