Ban Toxic Pesticides to Protect Pollinating Insects

Target: Mr. Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica

Goal: Advocate for the ban of neonicotinoid pesticides to protect all pollinators.

Pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and other insects play a crucial role in our food system and the overall health of our ecosystem. Unfortunately, their populations are declining at an alarming rate due to various factors, including habitat loss, climate change, and the use of neonicotinoid pesticides. These pesticides have been linked to harmful effects on pollinators, including reduced reproduction, weakened immune systems, and death.

To protect our pollinators and ensure the health of our ecosystem, we need to take action to ban the use of neonicotinoid pesticides. This ban would not only protect pollinators but also benefit farmers and consumers by promoting the use of alternative, safer pest control methods.

Sign below and demand Prime Minister Holness take action and ban the use of neonicotinoid pesticides in Jamaica to protect all pollinators.
