Dogs Brutally Gunned Down in Their Own Yard Deserve Justice

Target: Heather L. Adams, District Attorney of Lancaster County, PA

Goal: Seek maximum punishment for perp responsible for shooting and fatally wounding dogs.

When gunshots rang out at an owner’s property, the person was understandably alarmed. Police were called before the property owner went outside and investigated. A horrific sight awaited: two dogs had apparently been shot several times.

After the police arrived, responding officers confirmed that one of the animals—which belonged to the property owner—had died from the wounds. Thankfully, the other dog (belonging to a visitor to the property) was able to be saved following emergency treatment. A reward is currently being offered for any details provided about this disturbing case, and the county Crime-Stoppers are involved as well.

Sign the petition below to urge prosecutors to be as vigilant as investigators when an arrest is made.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Adams,

Two dogs happily playing in a yard were felled by gunfire. Whether these animals were targeted for this cruel act or whether they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, they should receive the full measure of justice. What if children had been nearby and caught in the crossfire too?

Local law enforcement has not given up on this case, and when they identify and apprehend a suspect or suspects, please follow through with vigorous prosecution. Whomever committed this heinous crime is a public menace, and their actions should not be taken lightly nor dismissed.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Someone knows who did this, total cretins like this like to brag about how big and dangerous they are, offer a reward and watch his so called buddies turn his loser butt in. And just because this is in PA does not mean he should get a pass, as happens so often in this state. He misused a weapon in a neighborhood to kill dogs on the owners property, take his gun and never let him have one again. Then toss his ugly self in jail for a long time.

  2. These people are dangerous aSSHOLES

Security cameras are now the best thing to have. However, I would never leave my pet outside by themselves even if I have a fence. There are too many assholes out there now a days and I would have shot that bastard that did this. Police need to keep on this and find the bastard(s) and just shoot them.

    • Agreed you cant leave your dogs or pets out alone too many crazy people around and coyotes etc

    • I agree whole heartedly with you. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. I have even heard that some states are bringjng back the firing sqaud. That is terrific. To make that even better would be to let the families do the shooting themselves. Help them with healing by getting revenge. Sorry, not sorry, some POSs just need to be gotten rid of. Like the 54yo woman doing 120 thru cobstruction zone on 695. Killing 6, including father & son, 2 relatives, a wife, & 1 other. They were all construction workers. She should not be left alive for such negligence.

Yes! Death penalty! This was MURDER!! THIS MONSTER MUST DIE!!! HE is a tremendous danger to animals and people alike!! Damn!! Kill him now!!!

    • I totally agree with you!!!

  4. LEAVE YOUR CATS AND DOGS INSIDE UNLESS SUPERVISED.

    • Julia Edinger says:

I agree!! People must stay with their pet’s when outside especially in front of their property…..

  5. This piece of shit needs to be prosecuted to the fullest. They need to put this asshole away for a long time, or people like this will only keep doing this.

    • Uncommonsensesc says:

Oh, no prosecution – shot to death is the only true justice in this case. Tie him/them in a yard or field somewhere and let people drive by and take shots at him. If PA is too scared to give these dogs true justice, I’ll gladly do it for them.

    • This piece of SHIT needs a brave person to put a bullet through the back of the bastards head.Dissapear quickly. Job done.
Not easy I know but there are people out there would could no doubt do this ???

  6. If that was my dog, there is no place on this planet for them to hide. I would find them.

  7. Alan Pryor says:

The dogs in the wrong place at the wrong time, in someone’s fenced yard? Are you fricking kidding with that B.S.? Do forensics on the recovered slugs & get this SOB.

  8. The evil monster that did this needs to eliminated off this planet. This was not a human who gunned these innocent animals down but a MONSTER and needs to be put down.

  9. FIND THAT MONSTER OF A MURDERER AND SHOOT HIM TOO.

  10. they should get forensics off of the bullets that hit the dogs. do a DNA testing on these – find the heinous killer before they strike again – possibly even killing people. remember – it starts with animals and graduates to serial killers.

  11. Find the one involved and shoot them with their own hun. No need for souless subhumans in this world!

  12. Debra Broach says:

There is no prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law, as far as animals go, as far as I am concerned. These cases seem to never get the attention or action they deserve. I never .. EVER!! ..hear anymore about these cases, anyone being found and prosecuted, after a petition is set up to sign. These precious animal’s stories need to be broadcast all over each and every news media there is. As far as prosecuting, if it were me, there would be no trial, no court appointments, no lousy lawyers to plead their cases, no lousy judge to let them off with a measely fine or probation, and no jury, just immediate throwing their useless, evil ass in a prison cell without the light of day and the sound of another human voice, for at least a month minimum, living on only beans and water. I would make him wish he had never touched a gun. But no, these laws are too damn wimpy and will never do right by the poor animals who continuously suffer at the hands of these damn, hopeless, pieces of crap who run loose in society.

    • Nadine brundage says:

I certainly agree with all you have said. Our weak judges along with our pathetic judicial system let’s these low life’s off with the usual slap on the wrist and the scum get off without any consequences.

  13. Julia Edinger says:

THIS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS KILLER MUST BE FOUND…. POILCE SHOULD ASK NEIGHBORS WHO HAVE SECURITY CAMERA’S WATCH FOOTAGE THIS WILL HELP IDENTIFY THE MURDER(S) THAT MUST HAPPEN IMMEDIATELY,,, BEFORE IT HAPPENS AGAIN…..

  14. Shirley Lemieux says:

See to it that the person responsible is found and prosecuted for shooting 2 dogs and even killing one. It must have been devastating for the pet parents to learn that their beloved family members were shot at with the intent to kill both of their dogs.

  15. By all that is holy may the same fate, torment, pain and anguish rain down on those responsible. They are miserable and worthless, may they suffer in kind before eventually succumbing to their fate. May they lose all they value, for taking an innocent life.

  16. When you find them, make them pay for all expenses of the dogs owners and the police investigation, then take them out and shoot them

  17. Americans guns. More guns than citizens are here in America. Florida is ushering in the new law of carrying a gun on your person without any permit. America is gun crazy. Killing contests of animals for entertainment. Piles of dead corpuses for nothing and these goofballs are teaching their kids to kill animals for fun. Horses in stables are shot dead by a minor. The parents of the teen who killed shook mates at high school are being charged. Maybe this will be the first of many such cases. Unbalanced kids are well known to the patents. It was probably teens doing this slaughter as well. But, in the end, it’s the guns readily available which inspires these atrocities. First time offenses usually get a free pass, teenagers too even through they got their hands on a gun and used it for murder. No one is safe. No animals is safe. These gun mongers are making it impossible to live a normal life. What’s normal? Not wanting to see someone or something bleed and die due to your actions. Where did peace go?

  18. Cheryl+Miller says:

Why why would someone do this?!?! Please catch the losers who did this and throw them in jail and take away their firearms forever!!! Those poor dogs and owners!!!

  19. Felicia Scheuttig says:

What goes around comes around and and it will come back and bite you in the ass .this abuse Hasto stop what if there’s a child out in the backyard what is wrong with people start throwing these freaking people in jail and let them rotten hell. This violence Hass to stop. It’s like people are afraid to walk out of their homes because of assholes like this that think they can just go and shoot up a town and get away with it.

  20. Find the scum bag and put them behind bars. Shooting someone’s dogs in a yard should be a 100 percent felony. Not just a slap on the wrist because they are dogs.
