Goal: Put an end to the selling of bear poaching trap accessories.
A bear advocacy group is asking Amazon to help protect bears by not selling poaching accessories. If the company makes this move it can help save the animals from illegal trapping. Amazon has removed bear traps, steel-jaw traps, and snares from its site but still reportedly sells snare attractants and accessories. These are especially harmful because the dangerous products can last for decades.
Amazon has apparently been the largest supplier of traps that have been used to poach bears for the last ten years. According to the founder of the advocacy group Help Asheville Bears, an Amazon representative said they were looking into the matter last year, but trap accessories are still being sold.
Sign below and demand that Amazon stop selling products used to trap bears and donate money to rehabs where the bears that have been affected now live.

Dear CEO Jassy,
Alongside the Help Asheville Bears advocacy group, we demand you put a stop to the selling of bear trap accessories. Amazon has been the leading seller of such harmful products for the last decade. Traps and accessories have caused many injuries to countless animals. Although Amazon has taken down bear traps, steel-jaw traps, and snares, the remaining products apparently being sold are just as harmful and maybe even more so. They can have a lasting impact for nearly a decade.
You can help save countless populations of black bears from illegal trapping. We demand Amazon take the next step and remove all bear poaching accessories from your site.

I’ve just ordered a book from Oxfam quite a bit cheaper than Amazon and others.
Let’s not forget also that the Queen’s guards wear bear skins. Think it was the MOD said they are from bears from culling overpopulation areas 9f bears. What a crock.
Time then, to leave some VERY unflattering reviews about Amazon – highlighting their apparent endorsement of torture equipment for animals.

I hope everyone starts vetting where they do their shopping!!!! I t really irks me that you just sell anything without giving any thought to its usage. I HOPE THIS COMES BACK TO BITE… SINCE YOU DON’T SEEM TO CARE THE AGONY AND TORTURE THESE SWEET INNOCENT BEARS ARE ENDURING BECAUSE OF YOUR NEGLIGENCE!!!!.

Amazon Do what is ethically right– this is not- please stop selling these products
Amazon needs to be more concerned about how animals suffer from this abuse and slaughter. Companies have to be good stewards if they want our business. Please stop this bear carnage.
Stop being involved in animal cruelty.
Amazon also sells prong collars for goats,glue traps and other items that cause pain and suffering for animals. I refuse to order ANYTHING from amazon until all of those items are removed!
