Dogs Apparently Choked and Beaten to Death Then Buried in Backyard Deserve Justice

Target: Nicole Ziccarelli, District Attorney of Westmoreland County, PA

Goal: Ensure punishment of individuals accused of repeatedly beating, choking, and hitting dogs.

Police have allegedly uncovered a horrifying case of animal abuse in Westmoreland County, where Douglas White and Mackinzie Orndoff are facing multiple charges of cruelty towards dogs. Over the span of several months, videos were captured seemingly showing White engaging in abusive behavior, which included choking, throwing, and hitting dogs. The distressing evidence collected resulted in at least three dogs being removed from their care, while the bodies of two additional dogs were allegedly discovered buried in their backyard, raising suspicions that even more animals may have suffered or died at their hands.

The accounts from neighbors suggest an alarming pattern of neglect and violence. Tanner Kefover, a local resident, claims to have seen numerous dogs cycling through White and Orndoff’s home, with many not surviving the ordeal. The evidence presented suggests a system of continuous abuse that has inflicted severe trauma on innocent animals. It is essential for the community and the legal system to respond decisively to these acts of alleged cruelty.

The charges against White, which include aggravated cruelty to animals and neglect, as well as Orndoff’s alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy and neglect of veterinary care, must be met with maximum penalties. This action is crucial not only for the victims involved but also to send a powerful message that such inhumane treatment of animals will not be tolerated in our society.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Ziccarelli,

The disturbing case involving Douglas White and Mackinzie Orndoff has captured the attention of the community and raised serious concerns about animal welfare in our region. Reports indicate that over several months, White subjected multiple dogs to shocking acts of cruelty which included choking, throwing, and physically assaulting them. The evidence collected, particularly the neighbor’s videos, seemingly illustrate an alarming pattern of abuse, with three dogs seized during a recent police intervention and the remains of two others reportedly found buried in their backyard.

Given the horrifying nature of these allegations, it is imperative that the prosecution pursues the maximum legal penalties available against White and Orndoff. We must stand together to ensure that these actions are not only punished but also serve as a strong deterrent to potential offenders in the future. Justice for the suffering animals and the community demands nothing less than a rigorous response.

Sincerely,
