Stop Hounding Bears & Killing Cubs!

Target: Vermont Fish and Wildlife,

In Vermont, they allow hunters to use dogs to scare bears up trees to shoot bears out of trees. This is horrible, cruel, and cowardly. Bears have no other defense but to climb trees or try to attack without getting shot first. This archaic outdated way to kill any animal should be illegal and banned.
Also, today I see some man proud of himself for killing a 57lb cub. 57lbs! That’s simply just a baby. I didn’t stop to look at the photo but I saw enough that he had 3 bears in his truck, 2 small and 1 larger. For all I know it was probably a mama and her cubs. This should be illegal and banned immediately and that person should be arrested.
Please help us pass new laws in Vermont by signing this petition.
I own a dog rescue Pawsitive Connection, I volunteer for Defend Our Wildlife and I transport injured or Wildlife in need to local Wildlife rehabilitation organizations. I can’t sit by and watch this archia and cruel behavior anymore.

Why Comments Are Temporarily Disabled

Due to strict advertising policies enforced by our ad provider, we’ve had to temporarily disable the comments section on all petitions. This change was necessary to protect our ability to continue reaching millions of animal advocates around the world.

We believe in the power of community voices, and we hope to bring comments back permanently and without restrictions. But to do that, we need to reduce our reliance on ad revenue.

The best way to support independent animal advocacy, and help us remove ads altogether, is by becoming a Premium Member.

With your help, we can protect animals and free our platform from corporate ad constraints.
