Free orca living 24 years in total isolation at Mundo Marino, Argentina

Target: Axel Kicillof (Governor of Buenos Aires Province), CristianAxel Kicillof (Governor of Buenos Aires Province), Cristian Cardozo (Mayor of San Clemente del Tuyú) and Daniel Scioli (Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports, Argentina),

Kshamenk is a 35-year-old orca kept in a tiny tank at Mundo Marino, Argentina’s largest aquarium. According to the aquarium, the orca was found 32 years ago stranded in the bay by fishermen along with three other orcas. Kshamenk was moved to a concrete tank at the aquarium, where he has lived for the past 32 years. After the death of his last companions, Kshamenk has lived alone in total isolation for 24 years now. For an intelligent and social animal like the orca, this is a terrible way to live. There are videos of Kshamenk showing strong signs of captivity depression.

The sad condition of the orca is also not good for tourism and also bad publicity for Mundo Marino or Argentina in general.

Instead, please help free Kshamenk from captivity and support organizations such as UrgentSeas, Activistas Animalistas de la Costa, or other organizations to transfer him to an open sanctuary with other orcas where he can socialize.

This would be a humane way to promote the region and to help Kshamenk spend the rest of his life in a place where he can have a good life.

Your government authority has the power to help make a difference. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
