Retired Service Dog Reportedly Thrown Through Window Deserves Justice

Target: San Bernardino County, California District Attorney Jason Anderson

Goal: Give prison sentence to previous offender who allegedly threw service dog through window.

Ruben Escobedo was arrested for allegedly throwing a former service dog, named Bugs, through a motor home window. He needs to receive a lengthy prison sentence if he is found guilty of hurting this unsuspecting animal.

Escobedo reportedly had been previously released under the Post Release Community Supervision program after being convicted of an earlier non-violent crime. Although a person is discharged when released under these conditions, their behavior is still monitored by a provided county agency. Thankfully, Bugs did not suffer any major injuries as a result of the reported incident. However, he now has a limp. It was determined that Bugs does not belong to Escobedo, and furthermore that the dog did not do anything to provoke the reported attack.

Sign this petition to demand that Escobedo be required to serve the maximum time in prison if it is found he committed this apparent act of animal cruelty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Anderson,

Authorities recently arrested Ruben Escobedo for reportedly throwing a retired service dog, named Bugs, through someone’s motor home window. Police indicated that Escobedo threw the dog through the window for no apparent reason. It is important that he be justly punished if he is found guilty to better ensure that other animals in the community will remain safe.

Escobedo reportedly had been released from prison for a prior offense because the U.S. Supreme Court required states to set approximately thirty thousand prisoners free, who had committed non-violent and lesser offensive crimes. However, he was still under the supervision of  authorities at the time of the reported incident. Although Bugs only developed a limp as a result of the alleged mistreatment, dogs are capable of suffering from P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) after they experience harsh abuse. Experts further claim that people who take out their anger on innocent animals usually move on to severely hurting or killing people. For these reasons, I demand you seek the longest prison sentence possible and that you further tell the courts that Escobedo should not be granted parole if it is found he purposely hurt this innocent animal.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

I’m so sorry Bugs was subjected to this abuse. If he now walks with a limp, then this is a serious injury. As a retired service dog, he deserves to live out the rest of his days in peace and harmony. Ruben Escobedo is a low-down, piece of slime for abusing this innocent dog and he needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I hope Bugs recovers and does not suffer any permanent damage. I also hope Bugs get justice.

  2. I agree

  3. If he could do something this terrible to an innocent dog, what’s to stop him from taking his anger out on another innocent animal or human being!! Lock his ass up for a long long time!

      Dear District Attorney Anderson,
Even if he was born here, find out where he or his ancestors came from, revoke his residence/citizenship and send him back there. He doesn’t deserve to be in this country!
      Thank you!

  4. Sick sick bastard. Someone needs to throw HIM out a window. Preferably one on the 87th floor of a building.

  5. Jason – Please prosecute this uneducated piece-of-shit Ruben Escobedo to the fullest extent allowed under California law. People who abuse defenseless animals have no place in today’s society. Where does a spirit like this come from? Please show the world that San Bernardino County WILL NOT TOLERATE animal abuse and murder! Please!

  6. Lock up SCUMBAG POS Ruben Escobedo or deport his loser ass!

  7. This moron needs to be uthinized, disgrace to humanity.

Could all the nations possibly be able to have and recruit TEAM KICK ASS,to be legally allowed to seek out these useless individuals and provide well deserved justice for animals they abuse, hurt and kill. These useless, brainless pieces of crap who feel it is ok to do what they please to innocent, vulnerable animals need to feel the fear and pain they seem to have no problem dishing out to animals that can’t or aren’t allowed to defend themselves. This moron was in prison, already, but of course, he was another one let out because the system felt it was ok. Not because it was safe to do so, but because the stupid system thought it was just ok. I am so sick of the stupid lawmakers and laws its unbelievable. Just got through reading and signing a petition to punish a police officer who intentionally locked a poor dog up in a foreclosed house for months. The dog was in terrible condition (thin, starving and no water). This from a police officer. I am so extremely angry that the laws don’t carry out harsh punishment for these pieces of crap. You get idiotic lawyers to defend them and brainless judges who let them off. Who pays each and every time … THE ANIMALS. We have got to get and have a KICK ASS TEAM!!! Now. Laws are useless.

Ridiculous!!! Deserves jail and NEVER be allowed to own any pets EVER!!!!!

  10. Jaime Perez says:

This dirty, filthy POS scumbag deserves to spend the rest of his miserable life in jail, preferably with an animal loving cell mate!! Bugs deserves to live a happy, safe life.

  11. Just put a bullet in this guy’s head & be done with these worthless criminals! We don’t need scum like this free

    PACT ACT

  13. Carolyn Taylor says:

Punish Ruben Escobedo, dog abuser, to the fullest extent of our sadly inadequate animal abuse laws!

  14. Jane B. Todaro says:

This guy, Ruben Escobedo, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and never allowed near an animal ever again. Bugs should be re-homed to an individual or family that will give him a safe, loving forever home.

What is the matter with some people???????!!!!!!!!

  15. Milantia Roy says:

    Your Honor –
OF COURSE HE IS GUILTY — PLEASE find out what country he came from or where his family is from and deport him right away – in this country there are too many criminals to deal with garbage from other countries. Also, order that those poor animals be sent to a sanctuary or given in adoption to in gratitude for their services.

    • patricia schwartzman says:

Yes, he doesn’t deserve to be a citizen in this land of freedom – animals that are retired should be safe and sound in safe places.

  16. Ruben Escobedo must be punished with the highest fines and the longest prison sentence for his murderous assault on Bug

  17. EVIL SADISTIC DEMENTED MONSTER!!!!~ PRISON FOREVER FOR THIS BASTARD!!!~

  18. Nadine brundige says:

Forget jail as it’s obvious this nut case belongs in the nearest mental institution . Danger to animals and society.

  19. WHERE IS BUGS NOW? Does he have an owner/home?
How did this POS man get hold of this dog?
Lots of unknowns, would like to know.
As far as good old Ruben, vigilante justice is due.

  20. Stephanie Geyser says:

Obviously this piece of garbage didn’t learn anything from his jail time. He will probably only receive appropriate punishment for a crime once he rapes or kills a human being. Unfortunately, animal abuse doesn’t seem to count as a punishable crime in any justice system.
