Target: Chinese police authorities
Goal: Jail police chief who is accused of hunting endangered animals to dissuade others from committing such heinous acts.
A Chinese police chief has been arrested after bodies of dead animals were found in a freezer in the police station over which he presided. Apparently rumors were circulated online accusing police officers of hunting endangered wildlife. Shortly after, the pictures of the carcasses were posted.
Sources say the chief is accused of hunting Mongolian gazelle, wild horses, and hawks. Mongolian gazelle are very rare in China. Just recently they were spotted and the photos taken were widely circulated because it is such a rare sight.
Police are supposed to be protecting those who are in danger, not harming them. Demand that if this police chief is found guilty of killing these endangered animals he be sent to prison.
Dear Chinese police,
A police chief in Northern China is accused of hunting endangered wildlife and storing the bodies of the animals in a freezer in the police station. One of the animals he is accusing of hunting, the Mongolian gazelle, is endangered and is protected by law.
The police are supposed to be preventing laws from being broken not breaking the laws themselves. We the undersigned urge you to put this police chief behind bars if he is found guilty to dissuade others from viciously killing these endangered animals.
