Goal: Give man who allegedly shot miniature dog toughest legal sentence.
A miniature schnauzer, named Zues, was allegedly shot in his hip and back leg while he was wandering around a city street. Jordan Thompson was arrested shortly afterwards for the crime. He needs to receive the maximum sentence if he is found guilty of harming this innocent animal.
Officers watched the incident on a surveillance video and were reportedly able to find the dog at his house by following a trail of blood. Zues was immediately rushed to Parsons Animal Hospital for emergency care, where he received surgery. The little dog will also need another surgery to try and save his hind leg.
Thompson claimed that he shot the dog because Zues showed him his teeth. He further said that he had called the police to complain about similar occurrences many times. However, no records were found showing that this was the case.
Sign this petition to demand Thompson be justly punished for this pathetic cruelty if he is found guilty of trying to kill this innocent dog.

Dear County Attorney Jones,
Jordan Thompson was recently charged with felony animal cruelty and with a misdemeanor for shooting his gun within city limits after he allegedly shot a small dog, named Zues, in his hip and leg. He needs to spend time in prison and be charged all pertinent fines if he is found guilty of both abusing this animal and disobeying municipal laws.
Because authorities were able to quickly get Zues to an emergency veterinary hospital, his life was saved. Unfortunately, he still may lose his hind leg because of the alleged incident. A second surgery to try and save the limb will cost approximately $4,000, and Zues’s family may not be able to afford it without help from caring citizens through a Go Fund Me page.
Thompson accused the dog of regularly showing aggressive behavior toward him and stated that he had contacted officers numerous times about the animal. However, according to police reports, Zues was simply walking around and minding his own business when Thompson drove up in a white SUV and started shooting.
For these reasons, I demand you seek the strictest punishment the law will allow if Thompson is found responsible for Zues’ suffering.

This is how this subhuman deals with any issue…with Violence …. Think about it. A small dog. Hand down a felony conviction judges and lawyers, because if you allow just another slap on the wrist you contribute to animal abuse and keep allowing twisted scum to stay out on the streets.
The shooter should serve time and pay a fine. The owner of the dog should be fined as well, for letting his dog roam the streets and be placed in such a predicament.

Zues looks almost exactly like a Miniture Schauzer I owned. She was so naturally smart. Miss her so much, I hope that this person get maximum penalty law allows for!!!!

Yes, they are more than likely irresponsible pet owners, but I think you are missing the whole point. If your kid was out after curfew and got shot, would you be responsible for the shooting and any repercussions?
