Goal: Arrest pet owner and do not allow him to have animals if he is found guilty of aggressively kicking his dog.
A man was allegedly caught on camera kicking his dog, named Cain, in the parking lot of a gun store. Joshua Hunkins was issued a citation by authorities after reviewing the video. According to reports, Hunkins was not arrested. He needs to spend time in prison and have Cain taken away from him if he is found guilty. Hunkins also needs to be banned from owning pets in the future if it is found he committed this heartless act.
Hunkins appears to kick the animal extremely hard before picking the dog up and throwing him in the back of a truck on an Instagram posted video. Authorities did take Cain to a veterinarian to be examined. However, reports do not indicate if the dog was permanently put in the custody of animal control. Sign this petition to demand Cain be taken away if Hunkins still has ownership and to further demand he be arrested and not be allowed to be around animals if he is found guilty of such pathetic abuse.

Dear County Attorney Condon,
Joshua Hunkins was recently given a citation after security footage appeared to show him harshly kicking his dog Cain in a local parking lot. If he is found guilty, he needs to be arrested and legally forbidden from having pets. Reports indicate that Hunkins was not given a citation at first and that he may have only been given one as a result of public pressure.
Hunkins appears to be extremely aggressive toward Cain in the video. Although a veterinarian stated he was OK, this may not be the case in the future if Hunkins’s alleged actions toward Cain continue. Studies show that severe damage can be done to organs and bones and further that internal bleeding can occur when a dog experiences trauma as a result of abuse.
It is not clear if Hunkins was given back his dog. However, if this is the case and it is found that he committed this cowardly act, Cain needs to be immediately seized, and Hunkins should not be legally allowed to obtain more animals. For these reasons, I demand you suggest that Hunkins be arrested and that he also no longer be permitted to own pets if these shocking allegations are found to be true.

Joshua Hunkins is a low-down piece of slime for kicking Cain. There’s nothing Cain could have done to deserve this treatment. Hunkins needs to be punished and Cain taken from him.
