Goal: Prosecute individual who reportedly neglected litter of puppies and allowed them to freeze to death.
Six puppies were allegedly found neglected and abandoned, frozen to death in a wire crate. Authorities believe the puppies were only a few weeks old. Now, the unnamed owner is set to be charged with animal cruelty. Demand he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
The temperatures in Longview, Texas, where the puppies were found, were below freezing for several days and authorities have been urging pet owners to keep their animals indoors. In addition to the six deceased puppies, authorities also report that they found two adult dogs on the property. Thankfully, they were found alive and are now in the care of a local animal rescue.
The name of the property’s owner has not been made public, but they face one year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000. Ask that they be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law will allow if they are proven guilty. No innocent animals deserve to suffer.

I agree, One year in jail like this petition says is shameful!! There was 6 puppies and the law is seven years of prison time on a felony charge so it should be seven times 6 which is pretty much a lifetime. The total time should be 42 years as this is a felony charge now so yeah death penalty is a much better option instead of letting them rot in prison for 42 years & then they will just do it again!! We need to get tough on the cruel people in this world because I need to be sent a clear message that this shit is NOT OK‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Sentence the owner to freeze to death the same way the helpless victims were! All these monsters that harm or cause death to animals, human infants or adults should have the same thing done to them. Send a STRONG MESSAGE THAT THESE HEINOUS ACTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, EVER! PERIOD! JUSTICE!

Puppies freezing to death is murder. America needs stronger laws, felonies, for this type of agony to any innocent animal. These people face a year in prison and a $4000.00 fine but this isn’t enough. People who are guilty of this type of irresponsible lack of action need to have their name on a registry, as all animal abusers do, be fined at least $25000.00 and face at least a 10 year prison term. Make SURE this jerk receives that year in jail (although he certainly should serve a year for each puppy).
