Innocent Dog Reportedly Shot in Face by Neighbor Needs Justice

Target: Daniel K. Knight, Prosecuting Attorney, Boone County, Missouri

Goal: Prosecute man who allegedly shot an innocent dog to the fullest extent of the law.

An innocent dog who broke free from his yard was allegedly shot by a neighbor. This was apparently an unprovoked attack, which left the dog seriously injured. Sign the petition to demand that the man allegedly responsible be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Jeremy Strum was charged with animal abuse for allegedly shooting the dog in the face with a pellet gun. When approached by the dog’s owner, Strum reportedly said that she had “no proof” he carried out the incident due to a lack of photo or video evidence.

Despite this lack of visual evidence, police still found enough physical evidence to charge Strum with the crime. Now, it is up to local persecutors to ensure that Strum faces the penalty he is due. Demand justice for the innocent dog so brutally attacked.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney Knight,

An innocent family pet was allegedly shot in the face by a neighbor with a pellet gun. Jeremy Strum has been accused of shooting the dog after he ventured into Strum’s yard, and has since been charged with animal abuse. The unnamed pet was left seriously injured and emotionally scarred.

Police have charged Strum for his alleged crime. Now, I ask that you prosecute him to the fullest extent the law will allow so no other beloved pet has to endure such cruelty.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

THIS SADISTIC POS NEEDS 2 BE BURNING IN HELL 4 SHOOTING THIS POOR DOG!!!!

  5. Stephanie Geyser says:

Unfortunately, with the US Constitution upholding “the right to bear arms”, if Strum is found guilty, he is unlikely to get more than a slap on the wrist as punishment. Why don’t people in the US fence-in their yards (like in other countries) to keep their pets and children safe from trigger-happy neighbours?

    • Raina Spaziani says:

Why don’t people look out for their neighbors like they used to. Your little piece of shit yard means nothing in comparison to a life.

  6. Hope the nasty neighbor who shot the dog goes to jail, pays the dog’s vet bills, has his pellet gun and any other gun in his house taken away, and is told to stay away from his neighbors. Such cruelty needs to be dealt with immediately. There should also be an animal abuse registry in every town.

    • Agreed! Not only that he should never be allowed to own an animal of his own! Animal abuse needs better laws to protect them! Our animals are our family! And that’s how we treat them and that’s how the law should treat them also! It should be a privilege to own an animal not a right!

  7. Evil, cruel, barbaric, inhumane, and heartless!!! There are better ways to handle issues. THIS is NOT the way!!! Prosecute AND educate!!!

  8. has covid gotten into this man’s brain and destoyed all common sense, honestly – stop this madness – completely unreasonable reaction to a dog entering your property – what the hell? this man should be on the “Watch List” – next time it won’t be a dog – it’ll be some innocent person.

  9. Dale Mellis says:

Pray the moron gets a long jail sentence for shooting the innocent pup and has to pay the vet bills.

    • E-v-e-r-y one has an excuse for harming animals, it got into my yard,it barked too much,it ate my child’s cupcake, etc.
There is n e v er a reason to justify harming another innocent being.
Dogs are like children that never grow up!

  10. I am so tired of these animal abusers getting away with these felonies. What good does it do to make it a felony and then not charge them with it. Make Jeremy Strum pay for all the medical bills for this poor dog, then shot him in the face with a pellet gun so he can experience what his victim felt, then let him serve his felony sentence.

  11. Maggie Loughran says:

What a pos i don’t get this anymore. animals are being slaughtered and tortured by crazy people. laws have to change

  12. People need to stop taking their darkness out on animals and work on themselves

  13. Briana Cohoon says:

If he had 1 would he have used a more powerful gun. Knowing he could go this far means he is unstable and capable of doing much worse. Next time won’t be a pellet gun

  14. This evil punk needs a ‘shot’ of the same abuse….only forget the pellet gun. A shotgun will do…a nice shot to the face and one to the groin. Then he will always remember his evil cruel deed. IN MY OPINION

  15. That’s attempted murder, and should be charged as such. Humans aren’t more special than other animals.

  17. To be punished yes! By public sodomization.

  18. Dawn Pettinger says:

It’s high time these psychotic monsters were given the correct punishment to match the crime,.20 years hard labour in jail.

  19. Shoot this mother fucker in the face!!!

  20. Pamela Hengst says:

Poor dog. I hope you are recovering well. As for Strum: pay vet bills, pay for pain and suffering of dog and family, a lengthy jail sentence, no pet or animal contact ever, no guns of any kind ever. Strum is a cowardly jerk who should be shot in the face, let him experience the pain he caused an innocent dog.
